guys , we had a great time dukin it out with about 20 or so other slobbering , cusing , ferocious , cart pushing , octapi , hoarding , gimmie gimmie , loud , pushy , swiping , trading , fools !

really it was a pleasant time . things went well . kim and i stood back while vperozo and the rest of the fools pushed and grabed what they were after . when the dust settled and everyone counted their goodies , we swooped in . getting the few items we wanted . kim wanted the chick figs (its her birthday ) and i wanted the 12 inch figs . we got what we wanted .


there was no blood , and i met a few cool people . the crowd actualy helped each other ! i was shocked .

I got everything that I was looking for... all for $75 over budget!

I am missing one thing, so I think I'll still be with Chunk at 5:30. I'm not getting any sleep tonight, anyway.

I must say that the new figures are really cool.

 

A WARNING!!! I'm not taking too close of a look at the new figures. I'm told there are spoilers galore on the back. I noticed that Count Dooku has a green lightsaber packed with his red one. I wonder why? But I'm not about to read it when I can see it in just 22 days.

 

One other thing. Some of the guys were looking for the AOTC book. Talk about serious spoilers.

I have to say that I was getting nervous when I first got there. They only had a few figures out and there was a guy who didn't seem to know much about the movie at all, and he was just grabbing like 3 of each thing. And his buddy, bought multiples of EVERYTHING! I swear, he bought like 8 cases. There were plenty of stuff left but those two guys alone wiped out the entire stock of Jedi Starfighters and Slave I, so I grabbed one fast before Jedi Nova got there so he'd have one. All in all everything was awesome and i had a good time

There were plenty of Slave 1s to be had at that Wal Mart we went to. I dont think I saw a single person put on in their cart, and it was $5 cheaper to boot!

 

I wonder if they sell the 14 figure cases for those figs. Because I want one. I must have all of these Basic figures!!! I was pleased with the first case, now I must have the other one too!!! They're pretty damn cool for basic figs. The Ransformer Basic figures totally sucked for Beast Machines so I was worried for these but man, these EpII Basics are just awesome

 

aahhh... I can breathe easy again. I got one of everything in the 3 3/4 line plus acouple extras for my friend & myself. if you get the Soundtrack-target has a bonus track-the box says target exclusive-
oh how I have waited for this day-this is awesome-Im gona go open everything

 

Joe, there were plenty of Clone troopers at Wal Mart the others may be a bit harder. I think they ran out of Dexster, Luminara, Taun We and Yoda.

 

I've decided to get the figures with my girlfriend. It will be more fun that way lol We'll see. I really want Clone Trooper, Yoda, and Hangar Duel Anakin

Question-whats the deal with the backgrounds ? Some of my figs have backgrounds inserted & some dont-should I be keeping any of these wrapped ? will they be worth something ? I open everything to display it so I want to know if I should go get more figs today-& keep these wrapped.

 

I'm getting a few extras because the guys that packed my case sucked. and Jango has a bent card so I'm gonna get a fresh one soon and just open that one I decided to keep them in the package to display on the wall My pops was like "why are you getting them? They aren't worth anything!!" and i said "it's not about what they're worth, it's about what I like. I like star wars and I like figures. And I'm buying figures to collect them, not to sell them" I want them to be in somewhat good condition when they're on the wall

 

i get that alot . i dont sell my stuff unless i have two or more , but that doesnt haooen often .my friends are like how much is that worth ? it doesnt matter !
