    Information here

Sure, there's bound to be really odd flavors there, but my goodness, 80! Why can't such variety exist here in the States?

I bought a bag of green tea Kit Kats (they're completely green) for my team in Oct. They looked at them like it was candy from another planet.

The Cinema Snob tries them out.

EDIT -- And it's a shame that they aren't sold here. While "Wasabi" and "Green Tea" are a bit off the wall, I would think that some of them (especially the chocolate coated Orange and Strawberry wafers) would be a hit here.

Can't imagine what 80 flavors they'd make. Reminds me ofBertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans, and that's kinda scary. lol

A lot of those flavors are special runs or limited editions.
They had a segment about this on the Food Network last year.

Earl grey flavored Kit Kats? That sounds either extremely delicious or extremely terrible. :p

Is this like how us foolish Americans got an alternate Robotech series from what actually aired in Japan?

Purple sweat potato "Kit Kat"?? **** off.

One of the gamers I play with brought over a variety from a local Japanese import store.
The best of them was 'strange', while most were yuck but edible. Only one was spit-up-or-puke variety (don't ask me which).
Why don't they sell them in The States?

We have laws against food poisoning?
    They want repeat business?
They don't want to damage their corporate name?

Seaweed belongs in the sea, not my food.

(In high school, some girls who went to Japan passed out seaweed crackers to those who would dare eat them in a class presentation. I did, and they were....different.)

The last thing Americans need are more flavors of junk food unless Kit Kats are considered a vegetable like pizza.

If these aren't already flavors there, then they should be: scrambled eggs, French Toast, hash browns, biscuits & gravy, cream cheese & Eggs Benedict.

    Los Angeles Lakers: Drama, guaranteed.

There are actually only a few on the Wiki list that I wouldn't want to try, like the Aloe Vera (what would that even taste like, seriously?) and the Wasabi (I like spicy chocolate but not with a wasabi flavor!). and I probably wouldn't like a lot of the veggie ones although I do like taro root a lot. In fact, one of my favorite ice cream flavors is taro, so it makes a pretty good dessert item when sweetened.

I definitely would want to try the banana, tea, and nutty flavors. Some of the other fruit flavors sound really good too.

Why don't those Japanese con-artists just eat that flavorless POCKY garbage they've systematically convinced anime-loving American kids to spend ridiculous amounts of money on? They even carry that crap in Walmart, now...

I had a peanut butter kit kat the day they became available in the UK. It made me ill. I'll stick with my plain Kit Kat Chunkey thanks. [face_talk_hand]
