I was trying to convert a nine second .avi file into a filmstrip file so that I can do lightsabers in photoshop and the file came out to be 6.63 Gigabytes? How do I compress this?I'm using Premiere 6.0 and Photoshop 7.

    thanks Jedi_Maduck

    It's at 29.7 frames.
And I think the resolution is 640 by 480?

Hmmm, I have no idea what is wrong then. I can get less than 1 GB filmstrip at 29.97 fps and at 720 x 480 rez.

Well I use premiere 6.0 and photoshop 7.0 too. i just export timeline from premiere as a filmstrip (.flm) and it turns out as a smaller file. try re-exporting the file. i have no idea what is wrong.
