On the sock, I always hear people talking about their socks..."What in the world??? IU thought, "Do you people have feet fetishes?" Then I read one string where someone said that their sock had posted on the board... now I was really confused. I mean my socks can get gross, even a little crunchy but they have never used my computer when I wasn't home. So I am thinking, alter ego?

 

We live in Phoenix, its summer and monsoon season. Lots of crickets.

I think the term sock comes from sock puppet theatre. Its is a term for an alter ego that you create. Like in the Skippy threads I was Skip Duron. Some people have multiple socks. I have about 5 or 6. You dont have to tell people who you are when you are a sock that way they have to guess who you are. Its fun.
