Been very busy lately. As some of you know, I've joined Relay for Life, so I've been busy with that, as well as trying to help out at school, and then there's that whole work thing that fills in all the spaces inbetween.

Are any of you locals (that I had addresses for) planning to come to any of my fundraising events? I've been working hard! Trivia Night is THIS SATURDAY! 6pm at the Carpenters Local hall. 50/50 drawing & Raffling off gift certificates. If you didn't get a flyer in the mail, you're still welcome to join us! Just send me a message and I can get you the details!

ALSO, roller skating at Galaxy 12:30-2:30p Sat. May 3rd Cost:$5/person includes skates, slice of pizza & soft drink.

Lastly, HACIENDA TUESDAY MAY 13th - Hacienda will give our team 20% of the total sales from our group for that entire day, which includes dining in, well and not-so-well drinks, purchase of gift cards, or fiesta to go! Just need to include the coupon with our team info on it.

Freshman year at MSU (circa 1991), we had a couple guys on our floor from Troy, MI who were in a NKOTB tribute band called "Troy Kids on the Block". I see they have a Facebook page, and a couple videos from that time period on YouTube.

 

New Kids of the Block was the first concert I ever attended. They were at the JACC.


They sure have changed...
