    ref,

We just got our big "OMG this is what the Hundred is doing this coming season" e-mail and I'm plesaed to announce that our "comepeitive" show (the one we'll take to the Ohio State University and possibly march at the Colt's game) is going to be The Phantom Menace. I'm taking that to mean it's going to be stuff like the opening theme, possibly the Flag Parade and Duel of the Fates. I have to go into the band department tomorrow to pick up a CD and if Colonel is in there I'm going to stop and talk to him about it.

When I have a date for that game maybe a few of you (Ed and Cole) could show up and troop for us or something. I'll ask Colonel if he'd like some local 501st help and maybe get the Indy Vader or something. I don't know............. but yeah. Thought you might like to know that. I expect to see ya'll at least at that game

    Any updates on this?

Well, will be down in Bloomington for IU Homecoming,
will attend the parade for sure!

will be around Thursday and Friday in genearl,
and maybe some of Wednesday night.

After that, way to much happening to know for sure,
and of course, it is what many see as
    the Halloween weekend.

I will be back in Chicago-Land for the actual day,
October 31, and even bid the day off work,
(I work nights, 4-pm to midnight, so this kinda
    makes sense)

but so far, very very very few,
have posted any thoughts about what they are up to
    on this at this time.

of the IU Alumni association, which last year was at,
just before Kirkwood and Indiana.....if I remember that right
and the parade still goes that way and it is on Friday.

Would be up for a Hi How are you after that as well.

    Ed

ps, would like to know the where abouts of the Hoosier Trooper,
    like...are in in the parade......

Well, I won't be in the parade, but will more than likely be running around the game.

If you guys aren't doing anything this saturday, ya might as well come out and fill 'The Rock.'

Just check in and sneak out. They want 50,000 people there, so if there are only 49,999 it is your fault. ;)

I think they got close to 45,000?

    anyone know exactly.

any other comments on Homecomming weekend?
( I know that there are a few IU students here)

I am still trying to dry out from all that rain,
    and yes,
I was depressed that the parade was canceled,
it is always fun to see and cool to see the
bands and floats. espeically the Marching 100
comming down Indiana in front of the Samples Gates.

I didn't make it up. I had school work, but also wanted to leave spots open for some other members. I posted that I could be available, but they didn't need me. :)

Sigh. If it's really the 21st, Rae, Ben, and I won't be there. It's a home weekend, since the 21st is Thunder Over Louisville. Not complaining or anything, just letting everyone know. We Louisville suburb people have to go to Thunder.

Have you ever been here for the little 500? Even if you don't care to be crazy stupid drunk, its one heck of a time. I would definitely miss Evansville's big event (fall festival) in the name of Little 5.

Thanks Eric, should be able to make it.

and yes, my main reason for visiting,

    is THE LITTLE 500

not the parties, but the actual race, which I find
    pretty gosh darn inspirational.

    also

am always looking for an opportunity to visit Bloomington:)
