Well, right now, I am having a heart attack............someone other than me
    posting on this thread[face_laugh]

But, like many, I too am at work and am focus on surviving the winter.

Looking forward to the next visit is most of my day dreaming,

and am trying to find myself a new computer....
(last new one for me was 1995 about 14-years ago!)

am also trying to compose alternate lyric to some songs,
as I KJ a little and have the music, and yes, they are all Star Wars
orintated.............if they turn out ok, they will be my first,
and then I have to find someone who can actuallyu sing[face_laugh]

I know, kinda shocking to see some other posts. Any new projects? Star Wars or otherwise?

hhhhmmmmm..let me see, did I mention I hope to get new computer:D
so, I expect that to be quite a project as my first new computer thing,
in over 14 years, so that may take up some of my free time.

In other news, I got a pretty goo GDO off the replica prop forum which
might make the Hoosier Trooper a little jealous:)

Am always on the lookout for SandTrooper gear, am hopeful of getting a
    better version of the MG-15

Managed to get an all rubber-like version of the BikerScout pistol,
very lightweight and spongy____or it will most likely bounce instead of brake
    when dropped.

    also,

The Nuts over at the South Bend Fan Force boards started some individual
"my movie" threads, prompting me to try to do one.........and this,
has led me to a major new project of trying to figure out what I have
in my own____way to large____collection of laser disks,

visit my thread over there at your own risk
    http://boards.theforce.net/south_bend_in/b10171/29584254/p1/?16

Am always, hopeful, others will post here, about anything from school to work to
being stuck in a snow drift, etc.

or even about non-sense such as,

    I was watching CNBC today,

you know, the all stock market all the time channel,

and they had the CEO of Burger King on talking all serious about the economy,

and then blew all his credibility as he took credit for

    Burger Kings new ______meat perfume:eek:

and CNBC played a video from the BK web-site,

that would be enough to turn most stomachs a little[face_whistling]

am also shopping for a new TV, and that will be to replace a 12-year old one.

in my research there, DLP is "greener" by about double over LCD and triple over plasma

Wow, quite busy I see :)

Not so sure about the meat perfume, however I couldn't imagine it being a pleasant aroma. It's really akin to Jone's soda Holiday beverages, like their turkey and the like. Not pleasant be any stretch, but it makes people talk.

The touch of warmth gets me looking forward to summer though.

Oh on the TV, I would probably stay away from plasma, but DLP or LCD work out pretty well from reports and from friends experiences. Good luck anyhow... should be some great deals though.

Ed, stay with a LCD and get a 720p set. You wont need a 1080p set for some time.

Ed - Or just go ahead and spend the extra money NOW for a 1080p. Jen and I went all-out and got a 1080p LCD...and it's SOOOOO worth every penny.

In "what we're up to news"...not much today. Jennifer and I went and saw the new "Friday the 13th" at 12:01am...watched "Part III" on my iPod while waiting in line. Jen came home and zonked, I was up 'til 5am 'cause I drank about a gallon of Coke Zero! Hope all is well with everyone!...

    Hi gang,

did another troop last night for Star Wars author Aaron Allston,

One of the highlights of this event was the arrival of some INDY KNIGHTS,

yup, they drove over 3-hours to be there.

during a chance moment, a Chicago Force member identified him-self and the CF book club
to Aaron Allston during the Q & A, and then Anthony (club_333) was next and noted the IK book club.

Aaron then put some fun into things by suggesting a rivalery might exist:D

but really, the IK and CF were united in Star Wars fandom and had a chance to sit down and
meet, share stories, and learn more about each others clubs.

I might have fainted if you guys had also shown up[face_laugh]

anyway, here is a link to a thread on the miswest garrison forums, that you should be able to read
as a forum guest, along with some photos.

Here's something new Jen and I were up to; we went to our first invitation only, private screening in Hollywood last night. One of my friends is a producer on the film "The Haunting In Connecticut" and he extended a most gracious invite to me and my lovely wife. Let me tell you...I could get used to that sort of thing; free booze, lobster, appetizers, and desserts in the swanky bar (which is located IN the movie theater; The Landmark Theater) before the screening...leather seats in the auditorium, and rubbing elbows with horror VIPs all night long. It was sweet, and Jennifer had a blast despite having the bejesus scared out of her by the film!

Saw "Terminator: Salvation" with Jennifer last Thursday...thought it was entertaining but VERY flawed. Script had some really bad moments, characters were pretty threadbare, emotion was virtually non-existent. Check my full review if you are bored; http://100yearsofwaiting.tumblr.com/post/111613665/terminator-salvation-a-review

Tammy and I are taking our Master Bedroom back this weekend. We had moved the boys in there to give them more room for there toys, we decided its time to get rid of some of there toys . In a another note, I was given RSA power of a few more states although there boards are mostly dark.
Missouri, Wisc,Minn, Mich,Neb. It really makes me sad to see so many boards inactive.

Jennifer and I attended a signing of the "The Haunting In Connecticut" DVD in Burbank tonight. Star Kyle Gallner, director Peter Cornwell, and producer (and my good friend) Daniel Farrands were there. A cool group of fans showed up to support the film and Daniel. Good times.
