Who's ready for a wedding?
I'm ready to crash one
Love to crash a wedding..too bad we're still in the PAST..catching up!
Lorain: "And how much longer are these two desert DUDES gonna be slumped around with us!! SHEESH!! "
Im sure they got a LOT more than what they bargained for... How about some breathing space, geez fellas!
I think it's about time. There better be an open bar.
greyjedi125 Oh my gosh--Fleet thinking he might have been covertly sold into slavery was hilarious!!!
He does have a bit of an overactive imagination, that Fleet!
Apologies about delay on updates! It's been a really busy time going back to school, but I should be able to squeeze a few in tomorrow.
Now...does she succeed? And if she doesn't can she say, "Oops honey, sorry, but with the jostling of the carriage I bumped into you. Glad you didn't die."
Haha! I'm biting my nails to see the answer to your first question!
As for the second, that's exactly why I set it up the way I did. Hopefully it'll be enough to give her a pass if she doesn't succeed.
So wait, question.
I'm still relatively new, so it's possible I'm missing something. Insofar as I'm aware, though, the only living children of this couple are Fenton and Seymour. Yet both, mysteriously in this post and in Emilia's CS, there is talk of a Maela Reynard. Someone who, by all indications, was a perfectly healthy young girl in utero. So what's behind her comparative absence from the story to date? Is she hiding somewhere, an ace up someone's sleeve? Or is whatever happened to her the reason that Fenton Reynard has become so horrible?
Theories, anyone? I'm going to feel really stupid if this was already explained somewhere and I just didn't read well.
Maela is alive and well, if you go back to page 12 in the game thread, she is mentioned in spy's Capital update (right above your character sheet) as being in the parade with Seymour in another carriage, separate from her parents and Matheus.
. . .
Ouch. Thus ends my career as a speculator.
Gwenn: “Next you’ll be tellin’ me ye got the dragon’s skull hangin’ above yer fireplace or somethin’”
I don't know if Fenton is dead or not. ARGH!
I'm confused too. Did we miss something?
Maybe this will help clear up the confusion.
Spoiler: DO NOT READ UNTIL AFTER READING MY IC POST
Although both of Aran's last two posts make mention of the horse rearing up just before he spots the chariot, they are in fact separate incidents. It is after the first that Emilia pushes Fenton. In fact, there is an implicit suggestion that the consequences of her shove are what spook the horse and cause the next one. The most recent post, on the other hand, describes the second. At that point, the person being thrown from the chariot is Emilia, simply because it's so hard to control. That is the person who Aran safely catches.
So what happened to Fenton? We know he went over the edge of the chariot. Other than that? Well, now you see why Aran is so freaked out. Did he crack his skull, get trampled, and die? Or sprain his ankle and slink off to safety? Something else entirely? Hopefully spy knows, anyway.
Or maybe it won't.
Eh, nope. Still confused over here, but still enjoying this very much
Well I mean, I'm confused. I just want to make sure we're confused about the right thing (what happened to Fenton?) not the wrong one (what did that post say?).
Actually, it turns out a little bit of both.
We'll, crap. Failure. Feel free to post or PM any questions about the second issue.
Wait for it. . .wait for it. . .
Waiting for it. . .waiting for it. . .
WHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTT??????? Oh.......MY.......WOAH!!!! speechless and mind blown.....and ......wow!
( loved the music btw, awesome piece!)
You said 'who's ready for a wedding....?' I'm having trouble defining what just transpired as a wedding.........*still in shock*
