Yeah, for some of the names I wanted to have a Nordic sound to them. Primarily for the elders because they come from a different generation. Leiliana's horse, I wanted her to be like the horses in Skyrim. Anaïs is a French name though, kudos to those who know how to pronounce it.

 

But you're making it for unselfish purposes to save someone's life. That counts for something, right?

If anyone of your party meets Leiliana she will explain why and the philosphy behind it. As far as the Order sees it. Then you will understand, for now though, deal with it. The Elixir can't resurrect anyone anyways. (And the Sandfury probably wouldn't be very happy about that either. )

I have to admit I'm very curious what Spy will do if she lets me join up.

 

Same here, I have been trying to join for a little while now but we have been having some messaging problems but we are getting closer each day to finishing and I like my character's design.

 

I can't wait to see the both of you.

 

She got back to me yesterday but there was one minor detail on the CS that I had to tweak. I'd love to have my character designed and drawn but it's not my talent. I work with words.

 

It's not mine either. Leiliana is based off Leah from Diablo III. And Artemis, her uncle. Which is why I had her call him uncle in the beginning. Was hoping someone might catch the reference. Hehe

 

Spy looked at mine yesterday but didn't respond so hopefully today or this weekend. I decided to make my character different from some of the other characters I have made in other rps and I can't wait to play it.

Isotope: Nice. Though I'm not a gamer I can certainly understand inspiration from other sources.

Selkath: This will be my true first time RPGing. I really hope I do it right. I'm nervous. However, Spy's initial reaction was good so I'm hopeful. I hope to bring a different take on things.

 

I have done a little bit of RPGing but I am also relatively new to it as well.

 

Best way to get better is to keep going! If you two ever want help or advice or share ideas please message me, I love to talk about that sort of thing. Hehe

 

Thanks, Isotope. I'll probably do that. There is one thing that has me confused: there are often several tags at the end of a post how do you know what order the players should contribute in?

 

I usually tag the GM first or last. Mainly just tag who you are talking to and who is around you. The order doesnt matter unless you want to put it in a certain order that you like. Every tagged person will see it regardless of order. So it's just your preference.

 

No, I mean as far as posting order so you don't mess up the story flow.

 

Oh ok, the way I recommend is that you know where and when your character starts.

So for example if you are starting in the town Leiliana will be going to then set up time to establish your character as i did. If you are doing a post where you talk to multiple characters and its in segments with a certain length of time between them then perhaps tag them at the end of the segment so they know which one to respond to. Then the next ones for the next segment:

TAGS: @ that player you talk to and GM
