I really think Caliban is getting a bad rap in this thread. Without people like him, Aran would never get invitations to go anywhere. So long as he sticks around, though, I'm holding out hope of visiting the Fair Groves.

Well, now.....I've seen season 3 episode 5 of GoT and the introduction of a character named 'Olyvar', who's made the acquaintance of Loras Tyrell.

I really hope this is just a coincidence regarding Ser Caliban's squire...... *raises eyebrows*

(If its not coincidence, then fine. Just remember Fleet sleeps with a dagger and he knows how to use it. )

I was thinking something more along the lines of Podrick Payne........if at all.

 

I'm a couple episodes behind on GoT and it's been too long since I read the books, so I don't remember an Olyvar...but now I must watch to see what this Olyvar is like to see if it might have bearing!

I'm terrible at writing war scenes. We've got a few coming up, and I find myself struggling in the first few drafts. Don't judge me too harshly for it.
