Speculation A Beginners Guide to the EU and how it relates to VII

Hey All,

I dont know about all of you, but I am not a Post-Jedi EU Guy. I primarily stick to everything between TPM and RotJ. I found the EU, without the main characters, and back in the early days of the EU, not too interesting and a bit *out there*.....

Anyway, I was wondering if we could start a thread on Characters, Events, Planets, and anything in between about EU Post-RotJ and how it may pertain to Episode VII. And then people can ask questions back to posts about characters.

I hear a lot of talk about Lukes kids, and Han/Leah kids, and some of those kids are good, some turned evil, then turned back, or some stayed evil, but I really dont know who is who and which is which. I know you can look this up on wookiepedia, but hey, this is more fun and interactive!

Also, if you can reference the books/comics/whatever so if people want to look things up and read them, they can.

Who wants to go first? How About Ben Skywalker, or Jaina Solo, or Mara Jade, or Chewies Death.....?

I'm having prophetic visions as well.

I am afraid I agree with Echo and Yubnub on this one. The lifespan of this thread will be not much longer than the half-life of I 131

Im changing my post. That thread also just talks about EU events/times/characters as if you already know them.

I think this is more of an introductory class.

But, ill let the mods decide the fate...

I want to make a thread about the EU vs EP7 as this one warrents it's own thread but I'm affraid that it will be blocked as soon as I put it up

Y'know, it's pretty easy to steer an old thread in a new direction and get everyone to follow you.

If people want to ask questions about the EU, all they have to do is go to the EU thread and ask questions and people will answer.

I will answer.

There's already been a few of these threads and they were all flamefests.

I want to be on this sinking ship, just to say I was there.
