Like I said a long time ago, all this build up for Chewie being in ROTS and all he does is give Yoda a piggyback ride.

Sorry, I was totally joking about Chewie speaking Basic!

Except for the part where when I first read that Peter was doing some voicework, I did... just for a second... worry. Just because of the history. As has been pointed out, there's no IU reason for Greedo or Bossk or Sy to not speak Basic, but the choice with regard to languages are seemingly random. If they're going to have some characters speak Huttese (etc.), and then use specific characters from the films who were always shown speaking Huttese even when people they were conversing with speak Basic, it just seems... I dunno, counterintuitive to make the decision to have them speak Basic. As soon as that comes up, though, someone will say it's because it's a kid's show, but then you get in a circular argument: why then would they have Embo, a brand new character with no language background and massive kid appeal, speaking like Embo-ese or whatever?

Actually, maybe Peter doing Chewie will be good. The Wookiee vocabulary could use some broadening. It's always cool when you hear a new sound from Artoo, right?

 

Not necessarily. I hated his new "Uh-oh" in ROTS.

 

Osi Sobeck (i think he is Osi Sobeck) looks pretty different from that picture of phindian article but he is definitely same species but still he has pretty trandoshan-looking face -so i also confused them first

I kinda forgot we'd get to see him on TCW even though it was announced a long time ago. At least I seem to remember this rumor floating around for some time.

Anyway, I heard Chewie's gonna speak basic on the show.
