FF:WA A Bit of Culture (The Plays and Operas Update)

...Just to keep a shiny veneer on this group post any scifi/fantasy/horror-related plays, skits, operas etc. showing in the near or distant future in this thread. This is mostly because I am kicking myself for not letting the group know about a play performance of "Dracula" that was showing until 14 August 2004, and which I know some people might've liked to see ...

Anyway, showing as at today's date: the opera "Faust" at His Majesty's Theatre. I went to opening night. As usual, the Devil gets all the best lines... ... but it's worth going. A word of warning--the opera is spoken and/or sung in French, so be prepared to read a lot of subtitles. However, the imagery is impressive, the orchestra is superb, and the use of lighting and effects is disturbing in some sequences.
