GunraysLawyer - So, who took the body? - Which body are we talking about? I seem to have lots of them lying around. The Emperor? Mara took it. Padme? Luke and Leia took it. Frozen Han? Leia has it. (any bodies I forgot about?)

GrandAdmiralKyrrona - Mara is smart. She probably already knows all about those toys.

Jedi-2B - Boy toy. LOL. Luke may WANT to become her boy toy... you never know about those annoying red heads, they can just turn a farmboys head!

The Eclipse lines. The only people who knew about them were Palp, the Sith Adepts on Byss, and Sate Pestage.
Not Vader, or Mara, or even Thrawn... Palpatine knew they could use the knowledge of the Eclipse Lines, and the Sovereign lines, against him.

I'll just tell you again how much I love this story. I love it.

Humm. What to do now I'm done reading?

Ah, I was waiting for those lines!

Obi-Wan Kenobi smiled. "In the flesh."

Now THIS was a surprise!

"You are a Jedi, Luke," Obi-Wan said firmly. "Just like your father was before you. I will help you complete your training, if you want me to, with one condition."

I was hoping the condition wasn't that Luke has to carry him around on his back!

Perhaps if I had moved the stasis chamber, she would not have died, she kept telling herself.

Don't think she could've done it. It would've been too heavy, plus Palpy could've caused a beam to fall wherever the chamber was.

I kinda liked Bail Organa until this story. Good job twisting all the characters around, Great One.

A single tear fell from the man's sky blue eyes and dropped to the dirty table, mingling with the sand of Tatooine.

So I guess there was no clone of Padme.

Wonderful story, GO. Do you have the sequel written yet? There has to be a sequel -- too many loose ends to wrap up. Mara still has to go after her boy toy!

 

I think it was destiny for Padme to die. Vader/Anakin's work at balancing the Force would have been for naught if he went on with his plan for revenge against Bail.

I'd like to see a sequel too.

 

Wonderful ending! You tied up all the loose ends very well. I especially liked the funeral (sounds weird to say that). Everyone's emotions came across as very real. I love that Kenobi is going to finish Luke's training. Very appropriate. That last line about going to Alderaan was priceless.

What a bitter sweet ending...to reveal my own prejudices, I am glad that you kept Obi-Wan, the whatever for the greater good liar that he is in the OT, and Bail, well, Bail is just despicable, I say that as a man not as a student of history.

Now, I have one word....Sequel.

Wonderful ending, GreatOne! I loved Han's response to Leia's "Someone who loves you!" Very clever on his part.

I thought the epilogue was great, too. I loved Bail's thoughts, about who he and Padme were just a business deal... It makes perfect sense. And poor Leia, feeling such grief over her mother's death... But, thankfully, Han will be there for her!

Lovely story, GreatOne! Thanks for sharing such a cool, inventive plotline with us!

I loved the ending! Poor Luke and Leia, but at least both their fathers are alive. Thank you for the great story.

 

Bittersweet is right... and judging from how certain characters were last seen, I would not advise Mara Jade to try to make herself Empress. There's a redeemed Sith who's just itching for a cause...

I'm sad that this story is over, but I'm actually quite happy over how it ended (except for Padme's death of course.) It is so totally sweet that Han feels at home on Alderaan with Leia. Glad to see that Obi-wan is still alive. That was a pleasant surprise. I feel bad for Anakin, but I hope he can somehow remain involved with Luke and Leia, even though he is not actually related to Leia. I am definitely going to miss the daily updates, but I will now have time to start reading your other story - "The Death and Life of Han Solo".

Overall, a most excellent piece of fiction!!!
