MidWest A curious question: do you know where in the world is Spain?

South(west)ern Europe, just a stones throw away from Northern Africa.

It's the only European country I've been to, therefore the coolest I suppose. Here's a curious question: Why are you asking this here? Someone insult you with their lack of geography skillz?

 

Yeah, it occupies the majority of the Iberian peninsula. Southwest of France, separated from N. Africa by the Strait of Gibraltar, bounded on the west by Portugal and the Atlantic ocean and on the east by the Mediterranean Sea.

While ther are some very smart people here...I don't think you REALLY want an understanding of the "typical" American's knowledge of geography.

you aren't going to get the typical american represented on these boards, most of the ones who don't even know the name of our president don't post on these boards

 

Yeah, I think most people who don't know where Spain is, probably couldn't figure out how to register for the boards, much less turn on their computers.

 

Ummmm, isn't it more Western Europe than Southern Europe?
