Has anyone ever heard of a book called Heir Apparent by Vivian Vande Velde?

 

It sounds painfully familiar but, no, I can't say that I have... Is it an assignment for school or something?

 

No, it's one of the best books ever written! But then again, not many people should have heard of it, considering it was only recently published.

It's about this girl who is trapped in a video game but only has a limited amount of time before the machine overheats and kills her. It's very funny!

 

You'd be right again...never heard of it.
