Theres been drafts in other Boards besides TFN I believe, but Horax is the one who brought it to TFN.

Most of those superpowerful characters were axed because they made the game too unbalanced. (i.e Galactus, Thanos, The Sentry, etc) Plus, comics at least have the ability to use evidence considering how many possible matches have already happened in comics, plus there is detailed knowledge of their powers.

I suppose it could work in a hand to hand format. Though I still don't see Mario or Luigi actually winning any matches, particularly against opposition from action games like Dante.

The Jedi draft stood for a long time without expanding into other categories. Come on, using Jedi is obvious. I thought of using his basic idea to create a new game. Someone obviously saw it was working and thought a video game one would work. I'm half expecting Trell to start an anime characters draft soon. And maybe in the JCC they'll start a hottie draft to coinside with the hottie wars.

 

The Starfighter draft was going long before the comic draft.

 

If Mario can beat opponent with his shoe then Error only needs: "I AM ERROR"
