Saga A Festival to Remember - Winter Fan Fic Challenge - OC, H/L, Completed 12/21/03

This little story is in response to the Winter Fan Fiction challenge, only I am not entering it into the competition. It isn't that good so I'm just posting it here for a few people to read (if you want to, that is.. ) This will probably be only three or four chapters long.

 

Ok! Even though no one is reading my Holiday tale, I have it all typed so I am going to post it anyway!!

Solo_Fan - The Winter Fan Fiction challenge is under the Writer's Resource Board. This is copied from the requirements - The Winter Holiday Story must be at least 3 posts long (it can be longer) and must be concluded by midnight of December 31st, board time. Vignettes are not eligible (to make it more of a challenge).

The entry should begin with this sentence: "The candle in the window could be seen in the distance, a beacon of warmth and welcome to the weary travelers."

And the all of the following THEMES must be incorporated:

1. candles
2. holiday
3. reunion
4. gifts
5. light

In order to be judged, you have to paste a link in that thread... but I don't really know how to do that, and this story isn't really that good, anyway. But thanks for reading!

"Tad" just has to be Han, and I feel so badly for him because his childhood was so sad. Definitely looking forward to where you go with this. And to agree with others, your writing output is amazing. Thank you for the info on the challenge. I don't write fast enough to take part in this year's, but perhaps if I start now, I'll have something for next year. Beautiful work!

awwww.... how did I miss this when you originally posted? Must've been when I was home in Michigan for Christmas vacation. It was so touching and sad! I was all teary-eyed! I really liked this. I think it's my favorite out of everything you've written so far.
