Hi guys! I thought I should post some of my latest assignments for film school, get some feedback. Fun With Food. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N2wSZ0WS2-k We had to shoot something we considered an art and through the presentation try to show why we considered it so. I found a presentation online (samples at the end of the video) and thought I could try an mimic the pictures that looked the easiest. (near the end, the title means "The next are from someone more talented than us." Blizzard Cut. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=quwjBWXHxC8 In this all editors were given the same footage from video game trailers and had to create something out of them that "sold" the game/ game company" to the viewer. Second semester Direction Assignment. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hgDdURrq4mI In this, we had to shoot a small film, with the camera mounted on a tripod, no camera movements except those that can be done on a tripod (pan/ tilt). No dialog, no music. I found this underground garage that looked like those cliched locations in Hollywood films (hard to find one in here, most are above ground) and felt I really had to shoot something in it. So I tried to shoot a small, silly "action-y" sequence. This is my result. The opening sequence I hate, but unfortunately I couldn't bring the light up there. All were shot with an old Sony HDR-SR7E and some minimal lighting.
