FF:WA A few things about the meet

Just clarifying a few details for the TPM screening on the 27th. (anyone who doesn't know the basic details can check the other threads)

For those who haven't paid for their tickets yet, Princess Lego (Susie) and/or I (Steve) will be at the entrance with your tickets from 6pm until the movie starts since everyone who's made a booking knows what we look like. Plus the fact that our illustrious secretary Susie made the booking.

I recommend taking a blanket. We'll be sitting on grass. I don't recommend chairs. They're allowed but only if you sit at the back. (we're supposed to have an area reserved near the front)

Some of us will go early with a picnic dinner. Feel free to do the same and join us for a bit of pre-movie socialising with other outer rim folks.

Feel free to come in costumes since others will be. Doesn't have to be elaborate.

It will be a hot day so you might want to bring something to drink. I think they have drinks there but they wouldn't be cheap. (this isn't an invitation to get drunk!)

Our mascot will be there of course.

No blasters!

After the meet we can do the usual thing and come home to post madly about what we all thought of it. I don't know about the rest of you but I haven't seen TPM for the longest time since it came out. It will be nice seeing it again now that the hype has well and truly gone away.

 

I will remind myself to be there on time - Soneil, i'll pay you when I get there, but I hope you have change for a twenty!

I don't know about getting on the net when I get home and posting madly though, as I have an early start the next morning.

It will be good to see you there JediLeia21. You'll be one of the few there I haven't actually meet. You'll be able to spot Susie or I since whoever is at the entrance will be holding a red clip-board with a list of names of those we're expecting.

But the next meet was talking in the carpark after the film. You missed that one too. This lack of dedication worries me.

I don't think we should try to pick on newbies, maybe the second meet but not the first.

 

At our first meet at our place we were all newbies, and we picked on Nat! She survived to become a great Jedi. It's part of the training for Outer Rim Padawans (Don't worry - we're gentle).

 

He he, I was a newbie in August at QLD meet, they were good with me but, but lol we havn't had a meet for ages, lol we need to get off our computers here in QLD and get organised

Oh and don't pick on Leia ok! lol
