Ark A group advertisement oppurtunity. Need feedback.

Need some feedback here,

Involving recruitment:

I have the oppurtunity next fall to help with freshmen orientation. I have been given the green light
that I can advertise our group in the packets that are given out to freshmen.

Only thing we have to do is make up a flyer, or cards, or whatever we want to use.

I don't know how anyone feels about having the group advertised among college students, but it'll probably only appeal to others like us...

So, let me know what you think.

I don't have to get anything to them until the end of July.

 

How many ads are we talking? How much will it cost?

I WONDER WHAT THE RETURN OFF THE AD WOULD BE? I'M NOT LOOKING TO MEET ANY DRUNK RICH KIDS, BUT YOU NEVER KNOW? WHAT'S THE AVE AGE OF THIS GROUP OF PEOPLE?

 

Well, I'm one of those college people...

But, the average age is entering freshmen, transfer people.

I've actually gotten more response from the non trads (non traditional students)

They are typically older....

 

SORRY...DIDN'T MEAN YOU, THINKING MORE OF THE ANIMAL HOUSE...ETC....

 

I think it's a great idea if the cost works.

At first glance, it would make sense to hit the artistic scenes, like drama and art groups, BUT, when you really think about it, an opportunity to hit the entire group could bring forth gems no one thought of. I know I'd never think to target the football team, but there could be a great fan out there behind that helmet!

A flyer could really reach some sleepers in areas we wouldn't normally think to touch on! Who knows... there could be a whole bunch of people who could show some interest!

I'll help any way I can! Just say the word.
