Chapter 1

Dacen was exhausted after a hard days work. He was a slave on Tatooine and all day the hot sun beat down on him as he worked on the moisture vaporators of a rich family on Tatooine his "employers" were also gun runners and con artists. Working for them Dacen had become a proficient thief and a great liar. Every day he plotted his escape.

But for now Dacen would wait he walked into the kitchen and got himself a drink of water and a stale piece of bread. The bread was good but the water was lukewarm and tasted disgusting. He saw as his family talked with potential water customers he knew that if they saw him he would be visciously beaten later on.

He slumped down on his bed and slept a dreamless sleep only to wake up the next day and relive the last day he hated it. Now he knew he would have to put his master plan into action a large shipment of blasters was set to arrive tomorrow. He finished his work extremly fast the day before and went to bed at 5:00 standard time because he had to wake up at 12:00 standard time to suceed in his plan and be able to leave the planet and become a pilot.
