I wish she got more then one line of dialogue

 

Come on, she had at least three or four.

 

Really? I can only remember the one when she first starts the attack run

 

Technically Ello Asty has more lines than Rose does. Screentime is more important than lines. Tallie is definitely memorable, even if I'd have liked more.

 

Tallie is easily more memorable. She has a more unique design and starfighter (at least I think she has the only blue A-Wing), whereas Ello looks like two other charcters from the Poe Dameron comic and TLJ. Plus he flies a normal X-Wing.

I think she has one when she responds to Poe to bring in the bombers, to begin the attack, and "bombs away". But like @Gamma626 said, she had plenty of screen presence for a minor character.

 

Um......you mean Paige, right?

 

I'd say that's a given as to what I actually meant.

 

There’s always at least one cool supporting pilot in these films that stands out. Ello Asty, General Merrick and now Tallie Lintra. At least C’ai Threnalli is getting some decent screen time that is likely to continue over to the next film.

 

@Jordan1Kenobi These new Star Wars films are certainly making me a bigger fan of pilots, especially RO and TLJ. Now we just need a awesome Y-wing planet in a later film.

I really thought she was portrayed by an actress that was on The Handmaid's Tale. I remember seeing it the second time, and thinking "haven't I seen her before?" But an IMDb search indicated that I was mistaken. I'm sorta bummed if she's not in the next movie?

 

Haha one line?! She has way more than one line. She is also shown quite a few times.

 

It's safe to say she won't be showing up in the next one.

 

Her salute to Stomeroni Starck (I'm embraced to know his name) is fun. I thought she was great.

 

I was looking through Incredible Cross Sections today in the book store and noticed that her A-Wing has an “emergency survival kit” or something along those lines.

You've got retcon you can now use, Lucasfilm. Don't disappoint us!

 

Yeah I think she should have miraculously survived, and Tallie can be a major character in Episode IX

 

Loved her, she joins the greats of the "pilots who gave their all". TLJ and R1 have been good for that!

(Meanwhile Nien Nunb has tied Wedge for pilot survival with three films under his belt. Clearly IX has to have both Wedge and Nien in it to create the eternal tie match.)
