This is one of my works. I just wrote this for fun. I plan on continuing it if people like it.

    Feedback is appreciated :)

    "A Jedi's Fear"

After the fall of Duro. With Corellia in his reach, Confederation General Grievous continues his press into the Core Worlds

From his quarters inside the Confederation capital ship, Grievous was gazing to the small pearl of Corellia. He quickly turned to peer at his Neimodian visitor.

?Did I fail to mention not to disturb me, perhaps?...Captain?

The distortion of the Generals mechanical voice droned inside the Neimoidian?s ears sending a shiver down his spine.

?N-no General. Count Dooku wishes to speak to you,? The Captain said, slightly bowing to express his respect towards the General who was not flattered.

The General stared knifes at the Neimoidian. ?The Count has saved your life, get back to your station.?

The Neimoidian captain nodded nervously as he hastened away from the General, while Grievous pushed a button as a hologram of Count Dooku appeared in front of him.

The image of Dooku turned to the General ?Ah? General, I take the preparations are complete??

    ?As you have ordered, Count.?

The hologram of the Count cocked an eyebrow and his eyes started to inspect the General.

?Indeed...My master won?t be forgiving if you fail this Grievous. Are you sure the Republic will send forces to aid a neutral planet?.?

?I never fail...Count. With our assault the Republic will see an opportunity to form an alliance with Corellia. If they are available to defend it, of course.?

Count Dooku developed a grin on his face.. ?If they bring their forces from Kuat to aid then, it leaves the base on Kuat without the necessary protection.?

Thought he remained silent, the General gave Dooku a nod . Dooku laughed, his burning desire for victory dancing in his eyes.

?Excellent work General Grievous. Dooku out.?

On Kuat, the troops were assembling themselves in the acclamators. In orbit around the planet, a fleet of Victory-class Star Destroyers were maneuvering into position for the jump to light speed.

The Twi?lek Jedi Aama Ka?Taramas reviewed the mission with the council through use of a holo-projector.

Her mission was clear. As the Acclamators deliver the Clone-troopers to Corellia where they will counter the Confederation?s droid forces, she moves into position alongside the Confederation fleet.

She?d heard the stories of both her fellow Twi?lek Jedi Aayla Secura and of Cerean council member Ki Adi Mundi. Both Jedi had witnessed the General?s relentless attacks, and the wounds to the Whiphid K?kruhk spoke entirely for themselves. She only hoped that she didn?t encounter the General herself.

Aama?s Lekku?s flicked when she heard nearing footsteps. She turned around and noticed the Clone Commander.

?General Taramas, the troops are awaiting your order.?

She nodded. ?Escort me to the Acclamator Commander.? She followed the Commander with the fear of battle still lingering in her thoughts.

Second part is here now. Sorry for the delay.

I hope you few people still like it :)

    ------------------------------

The Confederation Cruiser brought to mind a huge predatory fish, long, streamlined, fast and powerful. With its cannons attached to the hull underneath, it had the ability to perform a planet bombardment. These weren?t the ship?s only weapons. Concealed within its hull, it had many battery cannons. On its sleek and pointy front it carried missile launchers.

The General had already gone to the bridge overlooking the gathering Corellian fleet when the planet?s ambassador made contact.

?General, we the people of Corellia are neutral in this war. You know this. You gave your word Corellia would remain unharmed,? the ambassador said

Grievous beady yellow eyes scanned the middle-aged ambassador on the screen for a moment, but his gaze was lured to the scene outside. The Corellian Fleet was maneuvering into a defensive position should the needs arise to counter the Confederation forces.

?The occupation of your planet is inevitable ambassador. Tell your admiral to withdraw and no Corellians will be harmed.?

?I?m afraid that it is impossible, General.?

The general?s head rose slightly as he looked at the ambassador. He was impressed by the show of courage.

?Then pray that you won?t have the privilege of facing me.?

Fear struck the ambassador when hearing the threat of the General.

    ?General--?

?All is said ambassador,? the general said. He terminated the transmission and stood before the Neimoidians who were controlling the large cruiser.

?Order the Frigates to open fire!?

The general?s order was heard and fulfilled. Turning his eyes back through the bridge window he saw the cannons on top of the assault frigates rotating. Done rotating the assault frigates opened fire on the nearest Corellian craft.

Everything was going as planned. All that was left for the General to do was to wait.

A swarm of Droid fighters appeared from the docking bays of one of the Cruisers, like a swarm of insects coming from their hive. The fighters opened fire on a Corellian Corvette followed by supportive fire from one of the assault frigates. The impact of the heavy laser fire tore a hole in the starboard side, turning materials into ions. The Corvette tried to turn in order to shield the torn side and a counter assault by the CorSec fleet followed.

When two cruisers entered the fray, the Confederation Forces had no problem punching through the defenses. The battle heated up. The CorSec Fleet did its utter best to defend itself, but their crimson pinpoint bolts vanished against the Cruiser?s shield. Most of the CorSec craft were scattered, leaving an opening for the Cruisers to drop the landing craft.

With their boot shaped loading ramp and giant wingspan, it proved to be a daunting sight for anyone watching as they appeared in the atmosphere coming down to Corellia.

With General Grievous, the use of Droid Control ships wasn?t strictly necessary, but the giant vessels were still active in the battle, functioning as battleships and carriers.

The General stood on the upper level of the bridge. A curved railing ran along the wide edge of the level giving the ability to see the entire bridge below. The bridge was filled with the sound of war making.

?Sir, we have incoming ships,? the Neimoidian pilot said who was seated on a small middle step not far below the railing.

    The Republic The General thought.

    ?Show me the battle report.?

On a huge holovid that took more than a quarter of the space the battle report appeared. It showed a group of Acclamators accompanied by the new Republic ships: The Mandator Class Star Destroyers.
Their Force was bigger then expected but it did not matter. Their smaller Republic Mandators were still no match for the Cruisers.

The General was convinced of that.

Here is another one, im sorry it is taking a little longer. My computer has trouble so i have to write and update at school.

Hope you still enjoy it :)
    --------------------------

The wedge-shaped spacecraft of the Republic moved into position. Their Mandators have proven to be a formidable weapon against the CIS Cruisers in the past. Located on the bridge was Admiral Jair Tersu. He absent-mindedly fingered his mustache while examining the combat data in the spherical shaped holo projector. He was supposed to stay at Kuat, but confident about his fleet?s chance of winning he chose to leave.

In his mind he was plotting the best course of action, a way for him to earn a place into history. He would prove that he would be better than his colleagues: Jan Dodonna and Pellaeon. The shape of a young Twi?lek woman appeared in the holo projector. It was Aama Ka.

?Admiral. The Corellian Ambassador just contacted us. He said that the droids are on Corellia. We should deploy the troops.?

?Negative. We need to get rid of the Cruiser before it is safe to deploy the clones.?

Tersu didn?t care much for the clones. He didn?t want to lose the Acclamators.

?Affirmative Sir, I will await your order.? The hologram faded out of existence. The admiral gave the order to attack the cruiser.

The few Acclamators remained at their positions while two of the Mandator Class moved towards the breached CorSec Fleet. With their turbolaser batteries aimed at the CIS cruiser they fired a volley producing crimson flashes.

Coming from one of the hangars of a Mandator, a pack of squadrons of Arc 170 and V19 Torrent fighters appeared. The rear dorsal fin of the V19 switched to the bottom and the Arc, S-Foils splayed, moved into attack position. They were after the droid fighters like a rancor was after his prey.

Witnessing the power of the Republic from the bridge, Grievous realized he may have made a mistake. He hadn?t anticipated this strength, this amount of force. But he wouldn?t fail, not now, not ever.

?Order the cruiser to fall back!? The general yelled as his voice echoed throughout the bridge. The Neimoidians seemed to panic. Fear of the general, or fear for the Republic, He didn?t know. All he cared about was winning this battle. All depended on it.

The order came through, and the overwhelmed cruiser tried to fall back. The admiral saw this and he knew that if they regrouped they could launch an organised attack. If the CIS fleet was in chaos, he had an even better chance of topping general Grievous. He ordered his crew to move in closer.

A volley of missiles destroyed the rear-inverted dorsal fin of the cruiser. Unfortunately, the cruiser broke free and was heading towards the main cruiser, the flagship.

The one in charge of the CorSec Defense Fleet contacted the Republic admiral.

?Our gratitude for the Republic, if it wasn?t for you everything would have been lost.? A seemingly young officer said.

?Don?t thank the Republic yet. The CIS is still there. Get your defenses up.?

Grievous, now agitated, stared through the bridge?s window. His mask was hued red, reflecting the lights. One of the cruiser?s crew-members stood next to Grievous for a moment, afraid to interrupt him.

?What is it?? The general let an annoyed tone slip into his words.

?General, shall we begin the assault?? The Neimoidian said, his nictitating membrane protection pointed at the general?s face. The general gave the words some thought and came to a conclusion.

?No, we let them come to us?Hold your position,? the general said, his eyes squinted upon watching the Republic force.

    ?But sir--?

The general?s sharp stare was enough to warn the Neimoidian who almost ran to its station in order to notify the rest of the fleet.
