Finally a new update...Im sorry everyone.

But thanks for the support you all gave me in the past, it gave me a push to continue on it.

    -----------------------

An eerie silence fell over the Republic fleet; the firing had stopped and all that was left was a dogfight between the fighters.

I have him? Admiral Tersu thought. But why would they stop??

In the background, the computers issued a constant hubbub of chirrups and beeps, like a flock of electronic birds. The mainframes were progressing incoming battle-data, as well as sending outgoing data towards the pilots. Clone troopers, trained for running a capitol ship, were walking back and forth from their stations, pressing diverse buttons -for what they served, who knows. All the Admiral needed to do was lead the ship to victory, and all that was needed for victory was a strategic mind.

?Observe the enemy ships, inform me with every inch they move!? he commanded his crew, ?and tell General Taramas to begin deploying ground troops.?

    ***

The news reached the Acclamator, where the Twi?lek Jedi was stationed. She was also informed of the General?s presence among the CIS fleet. She swallowed most of her fear with a big gulp and issued instructions to her clones. Most of the clones hardly seemed to pay attention, and some were mocking her. After the briefing she felt uncertain, incapable of leading the troops.

?Don?t worry.? A hand rested on her shoulders, as she turned around she saw the clone Commander she had seen before boarding the ships, also numerous times on the ship. Even without his helmet she knew it was the same commander due to the identification number on his chest plate, even though he wasn?t wearing his helmet.

She was surprised to see a young version of the clones as a commander; he had longer, almost curly hair.

?I know? But it seems like your men aren?t paying attention and-and-? Due to frustration, she couldn?t find the words she wanted to say.

?They are just toying with you; you are a fresh fish. You haven?t been in combat yet. I?ll make sure they?ll follow your orders, General.?

The Twi?lek embraced herself, holding her shoulders.

    ?I hope so??

The commander escorted her again to the Republic gunships, which were all filled by clones. There were different types of gunships, customizations made by the clones themselves. Some were bigger, some sleaker. Some held more weapons, some held less. Some pilots were entering their fighters, to give the gunships a safe approach towards the planet.

She and the commander were headed to a bulkier version of the gunship. It had an extra pair of missile launchers. These didn?t have the same amount of rockets, but it was enough. It also had more powerful lasers. The more bulky armor plating was accompanied by yellow marks.

The commander boarded the vessel while the Jedi proceeded towards her fighter. The canopy of the old Delta-7 Aethersprite starfighter opened, leaning towards the front as Aama entered the cockpit. She flipped a few switches and started the flight sequence. The wedge- shaped fighter hovered above the ground slowly, and other fighters like the ARC-170 followed.

She had gained the respect of the pilots long ago, with help of her knowledge of dogfights and strategies. She had no reason to worry about them following her command.

Next update will be in the weekend I think.

    ----------
Inside the bridge of the Ragnarok--the ship where Admiral Tersu was stationed?a large number of blips showed up on the displays.

?The Jedi is commencing the landing procedure, sir,? an officer noted.

?Let's make sure they will have a safe trip. Fire! But cease fire when they break through, I do not want any of ours to to take damage!?

The Mandator-class ship released a salvo towards the droidfighters, disintegrating some. Most were too maneuvrable to succumb to the battery fire from the large craft and broke through.

The Republic starship continued to fire.

Some of the fighters that broke free were the Tri-droid fighters. They consisted of a spherical central section that was surmounted by an outer ring, its rear section adorned with the Confederation icon. This partial ring was repeated on the side of the ship lower down, to form a kind of skirt around the lower sections. Three cannons were mounted on each of the circular parts, top, left and right. A larger main cannon sat in the middle connected to the center of the fighter. On top of the main cannon rested two crimson glowing ?eyes?: these were the onboard computer?s sensors.

Underneath the sphere was a launching mechanism for the dreaded buzz droids- small spheres that, when close to a fighter, unfolded and attached themselves to the hull. When attached, they would slowly tear through the hull.

?A group of Tri-droids coming your way, pilot!? Aama called.

?Yes, General!? The ARC-170 made a loop and came behind the group of Tri-droids. It fired three proton torpedoes to take care of the group. One of the torpedoes made a direct hit, but the Tri-droids dodged the other two, making a quick turn.

We need more backup against those things, the Twi?lek thought to herself. She put her trust in the onboard sensors to warn her for any incoming fighters.

?They are coming back!? one of the clones onboard the ARC-170 shouted. Aama turned to look at her starboard side, and noticed that the clones were under barrage by crimson bolts coming from the droid fighters. Their assault was answered by counterfire coming from the rear turret of the Republic fighter. One of the droids took a hit and exploded in a bright flash. The remaining droids quickly changed their trajectory, but resumed when they were past the explosion.

?Someone help those pilots!? Her wingmen broke up from her to aid the pilots in the trouble, but now she was an easy target for the confederation forces as well.

?Form on my wing!? she ordered. ?Let the other fighters help them out.?

The Tri-droids dispatched what looked like small spheres with glowing red dots located in the center of them. Buzz droids? The spheres shot in all directions. Many of the buzz droids went after the Gunships.

?Keep those buzz droids away from the carriers!?

The fighters that launched the buzzers were obliterated by a couple of T19 fighters, but it was too late for the fighter in front of the droid debris. He had the spherical pests attached on him and it was only a matter of time before the fighter exploded? And it did.

?Get those carriers into orbit!? the Admiral?s voice shouted. ?There are more fighters coming.?

I will agree, you are very good at describing your action scenes. I have to say I am looking forward to GG onscreen myself, and I imagine his charecter to be much like you describe him.

Your OC's are good to, but I think that this silly Admiral is going to end up wishing he had not leading the battle on Corellia.

I really like the Jedi as well, she seems very wise, but here anxiety and fear makes her very intreasting. Good job on the fic, can't wait to see how this bans out.

Here is a small update I promised. I will try to get a larger update next wednesday or thursday.

    Enjoy!

?General Grievous. Their clones are breaking through. Should we harass them with anti-air fire??

?No. . . A Jedi is with them,? he said, his eyes fixed on the holographic image of the Aethersprite fighter. ?The Jedi is mine.?

The general?s cloak covered his machinery completely, with only a part of his arm highlighted by the green glow from the overhead monitors which were scattered over the entire bridge. He glanced at one of the Neimoidians operating behind a nearby console.

    ?Jam their communications,? he ordered.

    ?Yessir.?

The Neimoidian started the sequence to jam all the communications of the enemy, as ordered. The ship?s captain joined Grievous.

?Do you think their Admiral will fall into our trap??

?I have heard of the Ragnarok?s admiral. I have no doubt that he will fall for it,? the general replied.

Admiral Tersu was inside his quarters, talking to one of the highest members in the Jedi Council.

Master Yoda?s holo-image glowed in the barely illuminated room. ?Aware of the droid general, you must be. Many have fallen, when interfering with his campaign,? Yoda croaked.

The admiral stood proud, with arms clasped behinds his back, his chest outwards.

?I assure you, Master Jedi. Everything is under control. The Separatist cruisers have fallen back and our ground forces are landing on Corellia as planned. This will be last we?ll see of General Grievous.?

The shimmering image of Yoda frowned, the tip of his ears lowering. ?So certain are you?? the small Jedi Master shook his head. ?Aware you must be, if you want to see through the ways of the General? Many? ha??fai..d.?

The holo-image started fading in and out as the words it spoke were becoming unrecognizable. The admiral tried to fix the connection, but Yoda eventually faded away.

?Master Jedi??? he tried pressing on the connection button on the console once more. ?Master Jedi...??

Uncertain of what just occurred; he spun on his heel and dashed towards the bridge, hoping to get some clearance on this matter. On his way to the bridge one of the crewmembers jogged towards him.

?Sir,? he said saluting while trying to catch his breath. ?I am here to?report that?we?ve lost all communication with the fleet and ground forces.?

?Calm down,? the admiral said, noticing the person?s fatigue. ?Is it a glitch? A bug? A human error??

?I wish, sir. . .Our communications are being jammed.?

?We?re what?? The admiral couldn?t grasp what had happened. How could th

The battle was great. I could almost see it as if it was a movie on screen.

I think the admiral is about to get his butt handed to him. You're doing a great job writing General Grievous. I'm actually starting to look forward to seeing him on screen in RotS.

    Thank you for reading :D...

Here is a new update. Im looking forward to any criticism

The heavy anti-air fire that came from ground-based turrets scorched parts of the descending Acclamators, doing little damage, but the fighters were less robust, and those that were unable to evade the weapons immediately erupted into a ball of flame. Jedi knight Aama Taramas relied heavily on the Force to guide her through the enemy fire. She wove her path with great control between the crimson bolts that shrieked past her nimble starfighter.

She observed the area below, guiding her craft above a city. The Confederation seemed to advance from a wooded area inside the city as if the black masses of the super battledroids would swallow the entire city of Coronet. She couldn?t help but feel sorry for the CorSec soldiers, desperately outnumbered by the droid army. She flew past one of the city?s beacons, projecting a large crystal beam which, it was said, could be seen from Selonia when both worlds had a clear sky. She noticed a small concentration of Acclamators in one of the city?s large parks behind the central government building; that park was where her battalion was ordered to set up a command post . She guided her craft in front of the Acclamator and extended her landing gear as she slowly hovered down. Her cockpit hissed open as she pushed herself out of the cramped space.

The first step out of her canopy gave her the first view of the battlefield. Clones were busy setting up a command post while Juggernauts ?driving tanks with ten wheels; five on each side- were out for the ?first kill?, followed by the AT-TE and AT-RT walkers. The All Terrain- Recon Transport didn?t have a cockpit to protect the clonetrooper; these fast walkers, capable of running, were mainly used for fast surprise attacks.

    ?Trooper!? she called.

?Yes General?? the passing clone quickly stood at attention.

    ?The commander??

?At the government building, General,? the clone said, pointing at the large building with a spike that seemed to reach for the sky, coming from what was shaped like an arena.

?Thank you. Proceed with your tasks.? She gave the clone a salute; he answered with a nod while saluting her back and was off.

She walked towards the large building when abruptly a loud boom deafened her for a moment. A small flume of smoke ascended above the buildings.

This is the real thing, she thought as her body started to tremble. She couldn?t help but be afraid? She did her best to hide it from her troops, but observing them she noticed they were as scared as she was, contrary to the stone-hearted warriors they were made out to be. She speedily proceeded to the government building, taking quick steps up the stone stairs. Luckily, everyone was in the main hall; she wouldn?t have wanted to go up a lot of levels in the building.

She joined next to the clone commander she had grown accustomed too while he was explaining the tactical situation.

?Withdraw the CorSec soldiers from these points,? the clone commander said, pointing at the corresponding places on the holo-representation of the city.

?Our soldiers died to keep hold of those points, ordering them to fall back would be a waste of lives!? the CorSec commander argued.

?With all due respect, commander. All their lives will be wasted if they continue to guard those meaningless points-- Look!? he traced his finger through the holo-projection drawing an invisible line to the main government building.

The commander continued. ?It is a wonder that the enemy hasn?t even discovered that clear path.?

?Listen to him,? Aama stepped in. ?Withdraw your men to these places.?

Aama completely took over from the clone commander, marking spots, showing calculated actions that can be taken against the droid army.

?After we?ve occupied those regions, we will split the main clone army into two divisions. One will be led by me, the other by our commander. The remaining CorSec militia will stay behind.
