Bail Organa and my mother, among so many others, sacrificed so much peace of mind, and even a normal family life for the good of the many, to bring about democracy and remove tyranny and cruelty.

But so often, what they've found is squabbling self-serving politicos and their sycophantic followers

This is not the legacy they thought to bequeath to me and my siblings and our children.

But it is one worth holding to and one I plan to continue to struggle to achieve.

On a funny note: politico is the portuguese word for politician and the fact that, in english it means bad politician (i just looked it up), is so appropriate because we are indeed up to our ears in bad politicians over here. In fact, I can't name a single good one.
