So thinking around Palpatine is NOT allowed...

I didn't think she would be that much older than Luke and Leia, though.

I was hoping Mara was going to be the daughter of Obi-Wan and Siri eventually. The though of Mara being Palpatine's child actually makes my head hurt.

Update soon! I want to see the big escape!

 

Ah, I've missed several updates. I especially enjoyed everyone ignoring poor, babbling, Obi-Wan's wishes as they carted him about last time. This time I feel so sorry for Mara being Palp's daughter and having to start training with him. Oh, and I feel for the Admiral, too. Demanding bosses are always a drag, but when that boss is a Sith Lord...Whew!

Excellent job, ladies!

 

I can't help feeling sorry for Culpi... at least a bit...

Obi and company better find a way off Bespin fast! That Palps is evilly cunning, but team Kenobi/Skywalker are pretty sneaky too when the moment calls for it. Creative thinking under pressure must be a prerequisite for being a successful Jedi. Unfortunately, it also seems to be a requirement for successful Sith Lords.

Great chapter! Can't wait for more.

My bet's on that our heros are goin' to escape ahead of the Storm troopers.

Culpi balked. What did Palpatine want him to say? He had a hard time trying to speak as it was, but he was even more clueless when it came to saying the right thing to please someone like the Emperor.

Uh-huh... That's the impression he gave off during ROTJ, too. Like one really needed to tread softly around him. As in: Over ten miles of glass while carrying nitro. (And the man portrayed here? Scary. Awesome, but scary.)

And... about Mara? Wow...

Culpi is a walking corpse, he wont seal off the landing bays on time.

 

I got to read TWO updates at once. Lucky me.

This story just gets better and better, and it set the bar pretty high to begin with. I'll just say

 

Well I certainly like my Palpatine off guard and off balance. Too bad it won't last long.

I wonder who he's planning to recruit for his inquisition team...? Bounty hunters? Hutt? Hmmmm

 

Mara is Palpatines?

Poor girl.

But I have every confidence that Obi, Anakin and the gang will get off Bespin.
