Greetings. I've been frequenting this section alot lately, and am most impressed with the amount of talent you folks have. Having an unsteady hand myself, I realized that I would never reach the same level of expertise as you free-hand artists possess, and so have decided to try my luck with computer technology. After purchasing the latest and greatest with Adobe, Corel, etc, and creating a few marginal (and more often horrific) works, I decided to turn to a slightly more archaic, yet still equally faithful, method: Paintshop. No, my friends, not the $500 gig. That wonderfully simplistic, time-honored little program that all PC'ers are blessed with but which most Mac'ers are, sadly, bereft. Anywho, I whipped up a few paintings to start with. I plan to focus with the EU mostly. Er, make that a somewhat slanted version of the EU. (If any of these seem familiar, you may recall fellow poster l'extatique's gallery, a few works of which were contributions by my own self.) And without further ado: [image=http://img132.imageshack.us/img132/6606/odddddddddddlj5.jpg] My first creation, with which I learned the wonders of Paintshop. [image=http://img140.imageshack.us/img140/6862/pellydreamstg0.jpg] Again, Thrawn-centric. [image=http://img101.imageshack.us/img101/1814/salamiestates2mk0.jpg] My final, but hopefully not last, foray into Thrawnhood. [image=http://img157.imageshack.us/img157/1043/quinlancm8.jpg] The one and only Quinlan Vos. [image=http://img293.imageshack.us/img293/8703/bosskii9.jpg] One for the KOTOR fans. I look forward to hanging out here more often. As such, feel free to bash/laud my creations to your hearts' content. I'm sure I will do the same to you.
