Well, JCC won't have to deal with it too much more, since there's only one team left there. Overall, it'll go on for at least a few more weeks, but probably not too much longer beyond that.

 

Well, as Integral says, there were about 100 people interested in the game.

There are 241,914 registered users.

Let's take a gross overestimation on the number of socks and inactive users and cut the total number of users by ten.

24191 users

100/24191 = 0.4 % of the JC are interested, so the guess 99% not interested is not that far off.

So one could make an argument that there are detrimental ramifications to having a select group's actions determining board layout whilst leaving the rest of the users with no say or input to have to deal with the changes.

Then again, this pretty much is the MO of the ModSquad in changing banners around for various events anyway, so just deal.

According do the daily system stats, less than 100 people have logged in every day for the past month. I don't know how accurate those numbers are, but seems to me like 24191 is still probably an overshot.

 

I don't think those login numbers include users who remain logged in on a day-to day basis. If you check the "users online" page at any given time, there are typically 150-200 logged on within the last hour.

 

Yeah, but I know I haven't logged in every day for the last month, and I'm pretty unhealthily obsessed with this place. 100's a believable figure.

 

I honestly can't even begin to imagine more than about ...15? 20? people actually giving a **** about the banners

Could one of you knowledgeable in such things please tweak the current JCC stylesheeet (Top 100 TV Shows) so that the URLs are all underlined? Right now URLs are only denoted by the tiniest of font size changes, and it makes spotting them in posts much more difficult than it should be.
