Hullo guys! Here's the first weeks worth of drabbles. They're mostly in the Saga era, but there are going to be a LOT of these, and most of them will be Beyond, so...here we are. :p

    1. beginnings

Obi-wan couldn't meet her eyes in the hallway.

Soft. Smooth. The silk of her mouth against his skin.

A moment of weakness, like when he?d killed the Sith apprentice.

Feral. Fierce. He could feel her anger at the bruises on his skin; he could feel their forbidden attachment burning beneath his skin, and for once he did not turn away from it. Siri was trying to take his pain for herself. He let her, and it was selfish.

He couldn't meet her eyes in the hallway, and failed to notice the slight swell of her stomach beneath the Jedi robes.

    2. middles

Siri felt like her middle was going to burst.

?It?s almost time to push,? the tough Corellian woman with whom she?d gone into hiding was standing nearby, dabbing Siri?s forehead with a wet cloth. Her young son was watching with wary eyes behind his mother?s skirt.

?Han, get back into the commons.?

    ?But??

    ?Get, now!?

The boy scampered off to the central common room with a glare, slamming the door behind him. Siri grinned at her makeshift midwife.

    ?He?s a fighter,? she said.

?Yours will be, too. Like all children born on Corellia. Are you ready??

    ?I?m ready.?

    Siri pushed.

    3. ends

The helmet hid the trooper?s face, but it was the same face she?d seen across a hundred worlds on a hundred battlefields.

They had taken everything. Anakin and Padme were both dead, and an unborn child with them. There were rumors to the same effect of Obi-wan, but she didn?t believe them.

Now, they wanted to take all she had left of him.

?Mommy, I don?t want to go!?

Siri caressed her daughter?s bright head and looked into those eyes she had once trusted, searching for mercy.

It was offered in the form of a swift shot, and Mara screamed.

    4. first

    ?This? is a lightsaber.?

She didn?t tell him that she knew that already; Mommy had one but she wasn?t supposed to talk about it. She?d never had one of her own, though, and wondered if he would teach her.

The mask-man dropped to one knee and held out his hand. ?Take it.?

He was scary, and she didn?t want to listen. He?d yelled at her once for stepping on his cape, but she hadn?t cried. Maybe if?

And then her head snapped back, and her cheek stung.

?You will pay attention,? he thundered. ?When I speak, you obey. Take it.?

    5. last

She was swift and efficient, wasting no movement, expending no unnecessary energy. Undeniably lethal, she was, like the one who?d been her teacher, and unerringly accurate.

Mara Jade never missed her target.

The clone?s eyes were bright, but they weren?t kind. The mouth was strong, but it didn?t smile. The arms were sturdy, but they didn?t comfort. It was a mockery of the only thing she had left anymore.

    You will kill Luke Skywalker!

    You WILL KILL Luke Skywalker!

    YOU WILL KILL?

Mara sank Leia?s blade into it and felt the Master?s voice fade into the far end of forever.

    great job on these EmilieDarklighter!

I don't think i had a 'favorite' per se, because they all flowed so naturally one from the other.

Great job on these, can't wait to see week twos!

YAY! Mara is always a treat to read. Well done and WELCOME TO THE CHALLENGE! I'll admit that I've heard that bunny before (Mara being Siri and Obi's) but have never read it done. This was fun. Well done.

Thanks everyone who has been reading along! Here's this week's set: Jacen and Jysella

    6. hours

She?s been locked in her room for hours. She weeps silently, but he feels it anyway, and aches to soothe her.

This is all a wretched disaster, something that never should have been. He should be able to go to her and comfort her with wisdom, not complicate the situation by giving in to inappropriate impulses. He wants so badly to sweep her up and tell her that he didn?t mean it, that of course he loves her, but it?s impossible.

He breathes a sigh and punches the wall in frustration. He hates that he?s the reason Jysella is crying.

    7. days

    ?Gammorean pig-man!?

It?s been four days and Jysella isn?t crying anymore. In fact, she?s fuming. Jacen tries to ignore the spark in her eyes and schools his expression into one of serenity.

?Jysella, I?m your Master. It?s my job to protect you.?

It becomes obvious that those are not the words she wants to hear?her eyes narrow and her arms cross tightly over her chest. Jysella opens her mouth to say something, but instead glares venomously and storms from the room.

She leaves, and his serenity crumples. He slumps into a chair and drops his head to his hands.

    8. weeks

Two weeks later, she?s toying with him.

He?s never known her to attend formal functions. She hates dresses, always complaining that they don?t allow her to move properly. Apparently that hasn?t stopped her this time.

The neckline of this one plunges low, and he thinks it?s a good thing that Corran isn?t anywhere around or they?d both be dead. She?s laughing at something, touching her escort?s shoulder flirtily and curling her mouth in a smile. The man?someone Jacen has never met?offers his hand for a dance.

When she takes it, Jacen feels like he wants to kill something.

    9. months

When Jacen wakes, the first word from his mouth is her name. He is greeted by his family: Mother, who is teary-eyed and cannot speak, Father, who claps his shoulder hard, and Jaina, who clings to him like a limpet and sobs that she was afraid she?d never see him again. Aunt Mara and Uncle Luke stand back, but smile at each other in relief.

He has been missing for months, they say, from a mission that went horribly wrong.

He wants to ask for Jysella again, but has not the strength. He sleeps. When night falls, she comes anyway.

    10. years

?Over a decade, Jys. Doesn?t that concern you??

She shakes her head and buries it in the crook of his neck, curling her arm around his bare back. Dawn will break soon, and she?s still in his quarters, but he doesn?t have the heart to move her.

They have had this conversation many times before, and it had never ended well before now.

?You worry too much,? she whispers, and finds his mouth. Her kiss is not greedy this time, but proprietary. He is hers, and has been for a long time.

He hopes he is doing the right thing.

Whoa. That was the first Jacsylla I've read. I think I like it! I know that I enjoyed the writing a lot. Women are just evil sometimes, but it is all in the service of a greater good, yes? Such as getting men to wake up and smell the caff![face_laugh] Well done!

    *chuckles again at 'weeks'*

Week I: Nice Mara drabbles. I like how you inserted Han in there, it was really creative and it worked. Mara is a fighter. :) The part about Siri being betrayed with a short was heart-wrenching. And then we get to see Vader's parenting skills (and what good ones they are  ). By the end, it's no surprise that Mara would rebel and cheat the rules by killing Luuke. In a way, it's a bit like revenge.

Week II: Yay, Jacella! :D Nice, angsty Jacella. With a happy ending. My favorite was Weeks.

Two weeks later, she?s toying with him.

He?s never known her to attend formal functions. She hates dresses, always complaining that they don?t allow her to move properly. Apparently that hasn?t stopped her this time.

[face_love] Ooh Jacen. Risist the dark side. Killing is [face_devil]. Teasing Jysella and hormonal, over-protective Jacen are hilarious.

And he is doing the right thing. :)

    Great job!

Liked Week 1. Very interesting idea of Obi- and Siri being Mara's parents. [face_mischief] Is it canon that Han's mom was a Doctor? Because I've seen it used in several places... [face_thinking]

    Thank you!

Actually, in that drabble, Han's mother wasn't a doctor, she was just someone Siri had gone into hiding with, and thus delivered her baby when it was time for it to come.

I can't believe I hadn't replied to these till now! Great drabbles, I liked the Jacella ones the best, but they were all great. Cool twist with Han being there when Mara was born, and Jacen's reactions to Jysella's antics...classic! Great job!
