    Luke deserves a second chance. If he sacrificed his personal happiness to serve the greater good and pass the knowledge like the Jedi before him (Yoda, Obi Wan) and the movie establishes that old Jedi order rules were wrong and that the Jedi shouldn't repress love and other feelings, than why not? There is a compelling story in there.

    Sable de luz I'm glad you mentioned Arwen and Aragorn. Luke and Rey could be married in the Force where there's no age and time. Why people only think in terms of classic romance? That's Finn/KMT. Rey and Luke have potential to transcend the genre.
