What? Attack of the Clones IMAX viewing

This will be an all day event. Give myself or Tracy a ring for more info.. we hope everyone can come along. We'll be meeting up with Master Salty and Mrs_Kitty in Myrtle Beach for this meeting.

 

We'll be waiting for you guys. We need to discuss which showing we're going to see and where we're going to meet.

My wife and I already have plans to be there that weekend!! What a coincidence! Let me know where you all will be, I'd like to meet some fellow fans. We are going to see 2 or 3 shows (depending on how many she can take) so we'll see some of you for sure. Keep this thread updated.

Right now, I want to know what time is good for everyone. anakin_girl -- what time did you want to leave? And If I'm not mistaken, Salty, isn't Kitty working until 9pm or so on Saturday?

Hopefully, I want truly find out about that until about Wednesday. It will either be me not working at all or until 9 pm. I hope it's not working at all.

I can't wait until then, but I guess I'm gonna have to.

 

Riding: Just name a time--I'm flexible. If it's early, you might have to watch me eat my breakfast in the car though.

We'll need to pick a meeting place, guys, whether at the theater or at a restaurant for lunch. I'm fairly familiar with Myrtle Beach, at least with the area right along Highway 17 (Kings Hwy) and Ocean Blvd.

 

I say just make sure everyone's entire Saturday is free. I don't want to disclude Kitty from the fun because of us.

while since the IMAX is at Boardway at the Beach, I think it might be safe to eat something there, but I promise you, you probably won't find cheap.

AOTC on IMAX is very cool! I know y'all will enjoy it.

 

There's not a whole lot of cheap places to eat in Myrtle Beach. As far as times go, just tell us when you'll be here and we'll meet you guys.

 

Yeah, Planet Hollywood is probably the cheapest you'll get there.

Art and I ate at a Key West Cafe there, and it was incredibly good, but not particularly cheap.

Okay, how about we meet up with the Myrtle Beach FanForce around 6pm EST? We could see the 7pm showing or the 9pm showing and still catch a bite to eat and get to know each other

James, we can work out where we're meeting later--I need to figure out the best way to get to Myrtle (using as many interstates as possible). Let's plan to be down there no later than 5 or 6 p.m., so we'll leave here around 2 p.m. or so. We can have dinner and see the 9 p.m. showing. We'll need to head home afterwards--I'm too old to stay up past 2 a.m.
