I've just received word via Wil Wheaton's twitter feed that Majel Roddenberry has just passed away. She was the wife of Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry. Our thoughts go out to their son, Rod.

T.J. Thank you very much for posting this..normally I end up finding out on my own but yesterday Belda and I were putting up Christmas Decorations and I didn't get the chance to look for any headlines..so thanks for letting us know about Majel otherwise I wouldn't have found out.

Yes..One moment of silence as Majel Barrett continued to stay active in the Star Trek universe well after Gene's passing as Lwaxana Troi and the computer voice on all 4 spinoffs and a surprise coming up

I heard about Ms. Rodenberry's passing away last week. I pray she'll rest in peace with her husband and my thoughts go out to her son as well and all her other close family and friends.
