    Someone is trying to sell me an older copy of A New Hope on 8mm format for $50 and he claims it is worth alot more than that. If anyone knows how much something like this is actually worth I would greatly appreciate it if you could tell me.

    It's not worth more than that. Actually, $50 would be the extreme high end of what an item like that might go for. Unless it's in perfect condition, never played before, I'd offer him $40 and if he says 'no', then show him the Tomart's price guide (my source on this). He's mistaken....
