What in the world joes George Carlin have to do with the conversation? Please just stop Lord Tyrannus. You are really starting to get on my nerves. Comment on this thread again in an inapropriate manner and I will report you and close this thread.

Anyway. In ANH, Tarking makes a comment that surely Kenobi was dead by now. It seamed to me that no one thought him or Yoda were still alive. I think this just supports the idea that Bail had to be in some sort of contact for those 18 years.

OK, I apologize if that bothered/annoyed you. I just used George Carlin as an example/reference point, to how long old people usually live for. I couldn't think of any other examples, so I used him...........

What does George Carlin have to do with this conversation??? I used him as an example/reference point to show that it didn't make any sense that the Empire, the Emperor, Tarkin, or Darth Vader would believe that Obi-wan kenobi died of old age....... Obi wan kenobi was in his late fifties in ANH..........

Did Tarkin believe that the stormtroopers killed Obi-wan kenobi???

Obi-wan dying of """old age""" was the most reasonable assumption. I mean, he was gone for 19 years with no words and was not heard from again. Making everyone believe he was dead makes sense.

People dont' just die in their late fifties. That's is a big/another reason why I really hated the prequels...............

Yea. Apparently people only die when the reach the age of 71 (that is how old George Carlin was when he died).

I'm guessing he doesn't know anyone who died in their fifties then.

59 may not totally be old, but it is still old enough to die at.

Does he know anyone who flew a space ship to destroy a giant moon-sized space station to free the galaxy from an oppresive Empire? Because that happened in the movie too. So pretty much, Darth Tyranus, if you havent expierenced it first hand in real life, then there is no way it could happen in Star Wars. Is that right?
