Ch 17 part 2


Take it kid, she's yours, Han looked lovingly at the Falcon, but he knew this was right, His

youngest son, Anakin was ready to be her new captain, and he had a good crew,he had his cousin Ben,

Tahiri Vella, and Ben's companion who would serve as the ships medical care, Jysella Horn, Luke,

and Corran, had joked that soon they'd be one big happy family, if Mara didn't kill Corran for

getting on her nerves first. Chewie feeling protective of the Falcon, but not wanting

to leave Hans side, he had Malla, and Lumpy move to Coruscant, so that Lumpy could learn how

to fix her, if they had any trouble, and knowing these kids, and they'd always be kids to him, that was bound to happen,

just like it had for their parents. "Hold on, Hold on" Lando had entered the docking bay, "why?"

"because Chance is going with them, and I want him to learn the Galaxy, with your kid."

"Lando there's barely enough space on the Falcon, and what about the Lady Luck?" "The Lady Luck is my

ship, old buddy, and besides Chance Calrissian can open doors that Skywalker/Solos can't,

and i taught him everything I know." "Alright" "Anakin are you okay with this?", Anakin thought about

it "Of course he can come aboard" if he can beat Jedi at Sabacc, he had the skills they would need, especially

when they entered the dangers of Hutt space. "Put your things in the Falcon, Chance, you can

bunk with Lumpy." "Sure Ani, tell the big fur ball, I'm on my way."

 

Ch 17 part 3.

The Millennium Falcon was a fully crewed ship, up front Anakin, and Tahiri were at the controls.

Jysella Horn was going over the medical equipment, with Ben. Chance was looking over star charts, at their possible destinations,

and Lumpy was in the bowels of the ship making sure everything was in good shape, and that they were well stocked with

supplies for a long trip. In five days, they'd be on their way to the outer rim, to investigate Weequay pirates.

"You know Valin's going to worry about me, joining this crew, Ben" "Don't worry Arica's going to keep him busy, you know

they always go on mission after mission with the Sabre, and we're probably going to run into them, if we get shared missions."

"My dad says if those two get together, your mom might skin him, with a Vibroblade." "You know they like to joke together, besides

it's not like any of us, are going to be settling down anytime soon. Tahiri, and Anakin have been dancing around each other for years."

"Well your Uncle Han, and Aunt Leia fell in love on this ship, so only the Force knows what will happen."

 

Enjoyed the teasing. Chance is a good name

 

Arica is her mother's daughter. I always wished Luke and Mara had had a daughter, too.

 

Ch 17 Part 4


Arica Jade Skywalker was her parents daughter, she had striking green eyes like her mother, but her hair was blonde like her

father's, and her face was a combination of the two, but at 5'11, she land her older brother had inherited theirr Grandfather's height.

Her years of training, with her cousin Jaina had made her very fit, and she was skilled with the Force, even though her hair could get long she liked to have it in

braids, or in a ponytail, for ease of use, her favorite day to day outfits were jumpsuits like her mother's, or casual clothing.

Valin Horn, was convinced she was going to get tjem all killed, she insisted on taking

dangerous missions, but at least they weren't alone on the Sabre, their companions

were Danni, Ganner, Raynar, an R7 unit, R7-C5, and a blue protocol droid named C6-PD. Arica loved her ship, she was nearly twenty years old, but she

worked perfectly, the Space yacht had been expanded and upgraded many times, she was as proud of the Sabre, as her cousin, Anakin was of the Falcon.

As she explored the ship, she saw Ganner and Valin playing Sabacc, Danni was tuning the instrumentation, so that when they were not on a mission they would

sometimes venture into the unknown regions for exploration.

 

Oh, Arica sounds lovely. And the Sabre still in use The team sounds like they work and play well together. Like good friends. Valin/Arica pairing in the offing?

Biggs and Windy Skywalker were on their way to Coruscant to visit their family. Their sister had returned to the Jedi Temple with her crew so she could be there to see Ben, Anakin, and the Falcon off on their journey.
At seventeen years old, they were studying politics and negotiation on Naboo with their cousin Pooja and living with their Great Aunt Sola in Theed.
Sola had remarked how much they resembled her sister, Padme. Unlike the rest of their family, Biggs and Windy had in inherited their parents’ height, but their grandmothers’ complexion, eyes and brunette hair. It was sometimes joked that they could pass for Solos. Even though they were strong in the Force, they had chosen to follow the path of their aunt Leia and their grandmother.

Pooja hoped that someday Windy would succeed her as senator from Naboo. Biggs wanted to work for Talon Karrde negotiating trade deals and helping galactic commerce.
When their Nubian shuttle landed in the hangar and they descended the ramp, they were met by their parents, younger sister, Ben and Arica. They were enfolded in crushing hugs from each member of the family.

 

Nice that Windy and Biggs are finding their own paths.

 

Ch 17 part 6


It was a joyous occasion for the Skywalker/Solos, the day before the launch of the Falcon, Tenel Ka Djo Solo

had gone into labor, and Jacen was more nervous then during his Jedi trials, when he'd had to confront the specter of Darth Caedus,

in the dark side cave. Han Solo was going to become a grandfather again, and he had to admit he was excited, Cilghal had told them,

that the baby would be a boy, and he knew that it would be a change of pace from the girls, but he was already spoiling them. Leia was happy for her son, he had come

a long way, and he would soon be a Jedi Master, but she knew that he would give that up for his family, and he would allow his children to choose their own

paths. His master Tionne Solusar, and her husband Kam were there as well to give their support to Tenel, and Jacen.

The Skywalkers were happy for their nephew, and cousin, Mara thought to her husband "Farmboy, don't get any ideas, five is enough."

"What makes you think, I was getting ideas, Love," She smirked "because I know you, husband mine."

Jacen Solo, then came out, holding his newborn son in his arms, "EveryoneI want you to meet Jaxon Solo"

first his parents came, then Tenel's parents then the rest of the family came to

see the newest member of their family.

I really like this story. It's good to see the family moments and I love the, as I saw in an earlier review, kinder and gentler Jacen. It is a bit difficult to follow though with some of the grammar and spelling mistakes. There are also some run-on sentences, but otherwise, a very good story. Looking forward to more. You're doing a very good job with the storytelling itself.

 

Ha! I gave the Skywalkers four kids in my fanfic that I am working on and I regret it. I now understand why the profic writers usually have people childless or only one or two. If you continue the story then you have to figure out what to do with these characters or explain their absence from the story. In my last story I had three of the kids at college, but now I am doing a prequel I don't know what to do with them.

Nice update. I like happy stories.

 

Ch 18 part 1

Three months later, and the Skywalker apartment was quiet for the first time, in many years, Tionne had taken Sara, and her class to

Yavin 4 to explore the old Jedi Praxeum, and it was a far cry from the bustling activity of the temple, and academy on Coruscant. Luke, and Mara were eating

a Corellian dinner, that Threecio, had prepared for them "Farmboy we're not going to watch it." "Why not my Assassin?" "because you know how I get, when

I watch that Holo." he was talking about her favorite movie A Parsec Apart, "I promise, if you get weepy, I'll be holding you tightly "I'd rather, you join me in the

shower, Husband Mine, I'm glad Cilghal, had you fixed." he smirked, he'd had the surgery two months before, it had been Cilghal's last surgery, since Alema Rar

was now taking over the medical wing of the Jedi Order. Mara smiled, I want to try out those new soaps, Mirax, and I purchased at the new shopping plaza,

where they're rebuilding the works. Luke sent out a very enticing vision to his wife, one that made her blush, and rub his leg under the table, and he returned the

favor, making her shiver they then said in unison, "Let's skip the Holo!!", and they eagerly headed for the shower.


Sometime later, they emerged, drying each other off, and headed for the bedroom. Elsewhere in the Temple, Leiai grinned, at her husband,

"Is the kid, and his wife, at it again?" Leia had the lopsided grin, she had picked up from her husband. "yes" "I can't blame them, after some of the stories,

they told us, If we'd gone through that, we'd be the same way." "no matter how bad it was over there, it sounds like we always had each other, I can't imagine

life without Jacen, Anakin. Chewie, and Mara. Han gave Leia, a passionate kiss, and now we have three beautiful grandchildren, "And you were worried

about Jaina." Jaina, was so level headed, that she had avoided Kyp, Zekk, and Jag, instead, she had been having them compete among themselves.

To everybodys surprise, she had actively sought out Boba Fett's Granddaughter Mirta Gev, for her Wraith Squadron

 

Cool about Mirta, and woot for L/M.

 

CH 18 part 2


The Falcon was dodging TIE - Fighters, but these were not Imperial TIE _ Fighters, the Weequay pirates had refurbished some

rebellion era fighters, and they gave them a green color, with red stripes, to separate them from the old black Imperial fighters. Ben, and Chance were

manning one pair of turrets, while Tahiri, and Anakin were handling the controls. Anakin put the Falcon in a barrel role between the fighters, and the pirate

cruiser. Jysella was monitoring them to make sure they were all in good shape, and she had water containers for each person aboard.

The cruiser went into Hyperspace just as they were just about to hit the bridge, while Ben, and Chance had taken out the last three fighters.

Anakin Solo looked to his crew, "Did we do it." "yep" Ben said with a wide smirk, and Chance gave a salute. Anakin thought about what they had done, they had

managed to get a homing beacon onto the hull of the cruiser, that would let the New Republic fleet find the base of the Weequay pirates.


Ben, and Jysella headed to their quarters, they had been together for several years, but they had always been private with their relationship, the

trip, and the missions that they had shared, had only made them closer, they'd noticed each other, while her father Corran had been Ben's master, and

they wondered how each of their parents would feel, but that was not their concern now, as they held each other in their arms, and kissed passionately,

a Force bond was beginning to form between them, and soon they would be able to communicate in sensation, and through the bond.

 

Oh squee on the Ben/Jys pairing and excellent success on the pirate mission

 

Ch 18 part 3

The Jade Sabre was off on another mission, this time to Hapes, to evacuate Ta'a'chume, the once

prideful ruler of the Hapes consortium had been deposed, when she had opposed a growing movement in the consortium, for equal rights for men, and women.

She had asked the New Republic for asylum, after her abdication, and it was well known that she was dreading her meeting with her son, and his family,

She absolutely hated the fact, that not only was her family full of Jedi, but she was now related to the smuggler han solo, and his brother in law Luke skywalker,

who had foiled her plans time, and time again.

Arica had been forced to leave her male crew members back at the temple, because the Ex Queen, wanted only women to crew the ship.

Danni was aboard of course, as was Seha, and Nelani Dinn, which meant that the ship had plenty of room for the queen's belongings, and to give her enough

space, so they wouldn't intrude. "Nelani, how are the rooms looking?" :As fancy, as i could get them, it's a good thing this is a Yacht, AJ" AJ was the nickname

she had been given when she had become captain of the Sabre, she remembered her mother tearing up when she gave her the Sabre, after all it was the

families first real ship, it had been a wonderful gift from her unofficial Grandfather Talon Karrde, in two years her younger brother biggs would take their

mothers place in Karrde's operations.

The moment of truth arrived, and Ta'a'chume made her way up the ramp to her stateroom, shut the door, and the Sabre took off

with cheering crowds pleased that she was gone for good.

 

Newdawn: Enjoyed the details about the Sabre and Ta'A Chume's deposing. Love how this AU is shaping up and growing in detail.

 

Looking good, Arica does sound lovely..and love the second generation heroes feel that you've got going. Now to finish the rest lol

Ch 18 Part 4


Luke, and Mara were on their annual trip to Chandrilla, Sara was spending her vacation with her second cousins, on Myrkyr, they'd tried

bringing Sara on a few bwach vacations, but after a few years it became obvious, that she was bored, and she was never bored with her second cousins.

They'd taken a shuttle from the Jedi Temple for the trip, since they didn't need their fighters, and the Shadow was to big for just two people.

"It's always beautiful here Luke." Luke smiled at his wife, she was wearing a teal bathing suit, and he was wearing a black pair of swim shorts :It's hard to

believe it's been twenty three years since the first time we came here, and you're as beautiful now, as you were then." they heard the sea birds laughing in

the air, and the sounds of waves crashing on the shore. Luke put some lotion in his hands, and slowly massaged his wife, "I'm glad you took those lessons,

for me.". They shared their mutual desire, and love for each other over the bond, that had only grown stronger over the years, the memories of other lifetimes

slowly fading from their minds, replaced by adventures, and happy children, confrontations, and struggles, and they knew more was to come.

:Luke i don't think Sara wants to become a Jedi." I know Love, let's let her find her own path, like her brothers, and sisters." After the massage, they walked

into the beach house, where Threecio was preparing their meal, Local vegetables, and Shaak steak from Naboo, with their favorite wine. "This food is

delicious Threecio, " of course, Mistress Mara, Master Talon programmed me, with the culinary library of over 6 million worlds. Luke Grinned, they'd had

Threecio, since the birth of the twins, and they had learned to never interrupt him, he was not as patient as Threepio, he'd been designed to work seamlessly

with their family. Luke heard music playing in the next room, he then stood up, and kissed Mara's hand, and he escorted her to the lounge, so they could

dance in private, as they melted in each others arms, they felt the Force guiding their movements, allowing them to move as one being.

They then went to the bedroom, and sat down on the bed, their kisses flowed passionately, and longingly for each other.

 

Yum! Deliciously mushy and relaxing.

 

Ch 18 Part 5


The Jedi Dragon, was a fine ship, Tenel Ka, and Jacen, had been inspired by Hapan ship design, and Han, Chewie, and Lando had arranged for her

construction. she was big enough to hold twenty people comfortably, and her interior features had been inspired by the Sabre, and the Shadow. Jacen was the

first to leave the ship, as they headed for the cabins, near the Trader's Alliance base, his family followed close behind, his young cousin Sara, with his daughter,

Allana, and Ami, while the green hover stroller, with his son Jaxon, was being pushed, by his father Han, folowing them was his wife Tenel, and his mother Leia,

they were comparing Lightsabers, and teaching younglings how to use practice ones. Jacen thought about his sister, and brother, they were both warriors, on

one mission after another, Anakin loved the Falcon, and Jaina was fiercely loyal to her squadron. As they were walking to the richly stained cabinsknthat were

shadowed by the trees of the forest, his wife walked beside him, he sent his support through their bond, "Worried, my princess?" "Why would I be worried?"

"because your parents have to deal with your grandmother?" "I know it is going to be unpleasant, I'm sure my father can make proper arrangements.:

"She tried to kill you, and your mother, I'm scared to think about what would have happened if my uncle hadn't interfered." "my father loves your uncle, like the

brother, my grandmother had killed." "I'm sure she'll want to stay away from us, we're both Jedi, and our three children, are powerful with the Force."

At that moment they reached the cabins, and as everyone unpacked the three girls looked out the windows, at the shimmering swimming pool, in the back

of the cabins, their grandfather had built it eighteen years earlier, the water was constantly cleaned, by a special filter that was powered by the planet's sun,

and it had speciai fencing to keep out predators. The girls didn't care about any of that though, as they dragged Han, and Leia with them, to the pool, after

they had all changed for a swim. Jacen knew the next two weeks were going to be good for all of them.

 

What a nice lovely and relaxing vacation for the family. Jacen is so good with and for Tenel Ka, and there aren't any clouds of weirdness or secrecy

 

bravo! it's good to see our favorite family have a break from all the heartache looks I'm caught up here..
