Syra, NY A new Tshirt design

Maybe a little more "socialness" in the social thread Except the only thing that people talk a lot about are controversial issues- I'm not gonna get banned for that! *Runs off to social thread*

 

no I disagree we arent falling apart. The council was taking a very long needed break LOL. Prior to last summer Salt City Jedi was very active and would do monthly meetings and have activities each weekend. It was craziness. I think we are all recovering still LOL. However I agree that a new year has started and since we seem to have a few anxious members we should probable get back to biz,
I will be posting an agenda for the feb 8th meeting this week.


If anyone would like to present a new T-shirt design at the meeting that would be fine

I mean, like star wars wise, I know we can't have screaming obsenities or something like that

 

Hmm. I seem to recall something about not having specific SW characters on the shirts. TM copyrights and all. So if it's you're own work, I think it's fine. Besides, originality is your friend.

Black shirt, black and white picture (on the back), white lettering (changed to Salt City Jedi of course)? It might work.

Yeah, that's my thoughts- too complicated for a t-shirt, but as a flyer it's nice.

 

just a thought...maybe we could get a t-shirt with Otto(SU mascot) holding a lightsaber...it would be sorta funny

 

we tossed that around when we first formed about 2 years ago.......but there would still be an issue of copyrights/trademarks. etc...

Our best bet for a design is an original......

 

Or we can go old school and have the Salteen Warrior wielding a lightsaber. But I think the Native Americans would go nuts.

Once I get a good camera, I mgiht actually do a video of that. One of those crazy ideas I thought of once.

 

hey! i just found out that my computer has photoshop. i might try something now once i figure out how to use it. i cant tell you how i got it though....

 

OK, I don't do graphics. But, how about a penguin with a lightsaber?

Raef thinks I should say why, but I think most can figure out that with the snow and cold a penguin is appropriate.

 

Or, if the lightsaber is too telling, just have the penguin sitting in a meditative state. Imagine trying to draw a penguin with crossed legs, a serene look on its face, raised flippers...

 

I definitely think whatever image we use has a lightsaber

 

hey, how about having a snow plow with x-wing s-foils on it with a jedi sticking his head out of it? we have to make sure the back of it is full of salt and is trailing salt behind it. i think that is something that would represent us the best.
