A nice workaround for the 4:1:1 colorspace.....

    PadawanNick, I'm going to have to give your method a try. I've had success in the past with a couple of difference key experiments, but those both used the same background as I'd filmed against. It would help to set the aperture, shutter speed and focus manually. That way, the background will always look the same and will be unaffected by auto exposure etc.

    Yes, rental... HDW-F900 rents for $1500 a day... um... well, the lens, tripod, cassettes, electrical, video monitor, etc. are all extra...

    What a bargain! Just a drop in the bucket for a fan film!

    Great, now all I need is 300-terabytes of RAID storage, a 3550x2048 display, and about 300 1GHz G4 processors for network rendering, and I'm set.
