Pittsburgh, PA A Pajama movie party.

I had a good time. I didn't understand allot of the references but it was fun. On the way home I had a cop following me all the way thru Homestead. I was nowhere near intoxicated but I still wouldn't want a cop right behind me even if I was coming straight from an AA meeting.

There was enthusiasm for having more movie nights, including marathons of Battlestar, LotR, and whatnot. So...

I'm hopeful that "death" is too strong a word.

I could think about how it sucks to be me, but actually I'm thinking about how grateful I am that I was with friends and not by myself (especially that far away) when it happened.

And, no, Allie, this had NOTHING to do with the sound of something falling off my car on the way to the picnic a few weeks ago.

After talking with TRADMIC this afternoon, I'm thinking it was the timing belt. If that's the case, I'm glad it was parked at the time. The damage may not be too severe.

 

I could offer up my place sometime as long as nobody minds cats. I only got 2 but they own the place. And the girls can sing as loud as they want!

Thanks Dlocke. This was alot of fun. I do hope this turns into a regular event for us. Also I want to throw my best wishes to Bonnie's car. Hope everything works out o.k. My brother is a phone call away if you need it. Let me know. In other news, should we vote for where to have the next movie p.j. night?

*grin* Sure the 20th. We could start in the evening and spend part of the time talking about how Geek Bowl crashed and burned.

Why dont we start early with shots and continue throughout the night

 

Is anyone up for the 20th? Even if Geek bowl comes together which is not looking good, we could still get together around 6pm or so and make it a night.

 

I'm up for it. Here's an Idea. Since we will all be in the South Hills for Geek Bowl we could get together at my place afterwards. I don't live that far from Mt Lebanon. We could bring the leftovers from Geek Bowl and if the weather permits we can cook burgers on the porch. I could probably get the others from the Trek group to come as well. Let me know if anybody likes this Idea.

The movie party was much fun! Lots and Lots of Candy. We watched Hidden Fortress We got to draw on the wall.

I wish people would have pajamad more and slept over. Breakfast was awesomely planned but nobody stayed. I would love to host another one with movies planned in advance and more talk about stuff other than serenity role play.[face_alien_1] Do we want to try this again at my place?
