This was darling, Gina. [face_love] I loved the way it flowed together, and I enjoyed the happiness Anakin and Padmé were able to share, if only for a little while. It's kind of sad in a way, thinking of what might have been. Their love was like a sand castle in more ways than one - beautiful, but fragile. A single crashing wave would destroy it, and that's exactly what ended up happening when the stormings of the galaxy ripped them apart. :(

    Great job. :)

That's great news! :) I loved your two vignettes...
Count me in for the sand and water analogy... ;) Reminds me of an infamous line in AOTC, I don't like sand .

I'm only just finding this. What a lovely story! I've always been intrigued by the water/sand = padme/anakin analogy and you use it beautifully. I particularly enjoyed Anakin's character development - from self-centered misery to concern for Padme's happiness. I think he's adapting well to married life. :)

This was beautiful! It is a very accurate portrayal of a new love, when that first rush of emotion accompanies everything and all of it is so new. Great job!

Hello! Thank you very much! :)

    VaderLVR64

    Hi there! Thanks! :)

That's what I wanted to explore, the excitement and bliss they might have had as a newly married couple, so I'm glad that came across in the story.

I like mush :) Even more I like how you write Anakin and Padme.

This is a really nice little story and just beautifully written.

I love so many of your descriptions--Her chocolate hair, a striking contrast to her white swimming suit, hung in damp ringlets around her face, causing water droplets to cascade down her arms and back. The water had washed away most of her make-up, revealing the natural beauty of her skin, which was now glistening in the sunlight.

and this one---As the water lapped at her ankles, Padmé knelt down and filled both tumblers with water then returned to the sand in front of the blanket. Without a word, she sat down and unceremoniously poured the water onto the dry, brown grains.----are just a couple of examples.

I also enjoyed the conversation between Anakin and Padme about how different their backgrounds are.

    Just lovely.... :)

    ~ Jedikma :)
