Southern New Brunswick contains the bulk of us. If you get a job in Fredericton, Moncton, or Saint John, you could see all of us (especially if you rent/lease a car).

Honestly, Rambles, I think it would be easier for a Brit to get a work permit in Canada than it would be for an American.

Unless you have dual citizenship. One of my best friends is American and Canadian. And she might be getting a job at the newspaper in Houlton, Maine.

If you're going to work in the States, living there would be your best option.

 

Going back and forth through customs would probably become a pain real fast.

The border isn't as tough as getting through customs at the airport...well the border of New Brunswick and Maine anyway. They just ask you if you're carrying drugs or firearms and they let you through.

And coming back isn't as bad...unless you bought something, then they tax you for it. Except if it's take out, you know, something not materialistic.

*grumbles* Yeah, tell me about it. Thanks to my friggin medical, it might take me almost a month or more to get my work visa! I'm gonna miss starting the year off with my class! My first teaching job, and bah!
