A presance i've not felt since...

I truely believe the presance vader is on about is Obi Wan, but i was thinking, and maby he's refering to 3PO...!

What do you think...

 

No, he's definitely referring to Obi-Wan.

 

I'm not completeyl sure he'd be able to sense Threepio... The Force ceoms from living things, and Threepio is definitely NOT living.


It was Obi-Wan. Or maybe it was Luke. Or maybe a mix of both.

It would be a twist if Vader did in fact sense Luke instead of it being Obi-Wan. Since Luke is the son of Anakin and Padme, he could have sensed Luke's lifeforce as some presence similar to Padme. Remember in EP II that Anakin said that Padme's presence soothes him and Vader did seem to have been in some sort of reminiscing stage when he said that. But why did he not sense something in Leia who was not more than a few inches from him?

It's probably Obi-Wan, as he tells Tarkin that Obi-Wan is on the station because he felt "a tremor in the force. The last time he felt it, was in the presence of [his] old master."

But it might be a bit of Luke wrapped in there as well. It's simply that he didn't even know Luke existed at that point, hence no recognition.

I know Obi-Wan tells a lot of half-truths, but I think Anakin really did give his lightsaber to Obi-Wan and I think he did tell him to give it to Luke.


I think he knows about him in ANH, he just doesn't know where to look.

I've always thought this refered to Obi-Wan.

BUT, perhaps Vader knows of Luke's existance and that he's been with Obi-wan all these years but has kept it to himself and not told the Emperor, Tarkin or anyone else in the Empire. He could be assuming that Obi-wan is with Luke, or Luke is with Obi-wan. Vader could be referring to the combination of Obi-wan and Luke, only Obi-wan or only Luke.

Either way, Vader only reveals that he senses Obi-wan, even though he may have felt Luke.
