A Theatrical group in my small town near New Orleans is puting together a Star Wars Fan Film, however, none of us are very well versed in Star Wars history, I being the most knowledgable in this subject have been chosen to come to you and request a strangers aid in seeking the answers to our most pressing questions. Any answers will be greatly appreciated.

    1. How long is average for a Jedi student to study BEFORE being chosen as Padawan?

    2. What are the names of the Jedi Council? (during the Phantom Menace)

For any answers to these questions, I ask you to contact me via e-mail at: Odisant@hotmail.com.
    Thank you for your time.

Training begins at birth and continues until the padawaan is around 11-13, then a Jedi Master well chose a padawaan to teach one on one. If the padawaan is not chosen by the age of 13 then they are sent to a framing colony.

It's all in the Jedi Apprentice series by Jude Watson. Even though they are Young Reader's novels they are still really good reads. :)

Hmmm... I'm not much into the EU, although I used to be.

I may read Tatooine Ghost and Shatterpoint, maybe. Depends on what I hear about them.

I'll check them out, definitely then.

    :)

I'm going on a mini vacation with my g/f and her family to the beach next week, so I'll pick it up to read there.
