...why is there an image from The Abyss?
Last I checked, that wasn't Lucasfilm...
Due to the groundbreaking SFX by ILM. ILM's work being very much on topic here.
Too bad that specific part of the shot used has nothing done by ILM. Dream Quest Images also worked on the film by the way. ILM mainly did the pseudopod (and the shots later of the end for the Special Edition). Fantasy II also worked on it if I remember correctly. Oh well who's counting I guess.
I'm wondering about the girl in it. Is she from Willow?
You mean Karen Allen? She was in an obscure, little-known gem called Raiders of the Lost Ark
If you meant the one in the dress above George...I have no idea.
There's one other I'm trying to identify...who are those two people facing each other between the THX-1138 face and Sean Patrick-Flannery?
Not sure about the two people facing each other, but I believe the girl above George is Jennifer Connelly in Labyrinth.
Deltron...you're not named after Deltron 3030, are you?
Actually yes, and it's sort of a play on my real name as well. But yeah, I'm a huge fan.
Yep that other girl is Jenifer Connely from Labrynth (from the opening of the movie if I ercall right). The couple embracing are from THX1138, Robert Duvall and Maggie McOmie.
`You mean Karen Allen? She was in an obscure, little-known gem called Raiders of the Lost Ark'
A religous movie. That explains it. I don't like Charlton Heston films.
Cool, it's rare to meet a fellow Del fan.
Just one more thing I can't identify: what's the significance of that text on the far right?
Mel's drive-in. It's from American Graffiti.
Here is a pewter replica produced by the Franklin mint in the 1980's...
Okay, I have an idiotic question. What is that little guitar-playing golden idol thing that Indy is about to grab?
It looks like Howard the Duck.
Funny, I had never noticed it before ...
I was gonna ask that too, but I just assumed it was a goofy little meaningless...thing.
It looks kinda like a stylized Homer Simpson.

Howard the Duck on one side of the banner and Ron Howard on the other.
Who's with Milner? Looks like Lucas on the right, but who's on the left?
It's too small to see. Though he bears some resemblance to Rick McCallum.
Aha! Of course!
It is a great banner.
I like how the THX-1138 images are fading into the background.
