I told the people at the Galactic Senate that I'd ask you guys what you think about Luke Skywalker dying. Should Han and Leia kill him? How about Jacen?

I know this is the community thread, but I have to ask.

If Jacen kills Luke, I'm going to sue Lucasfilm and Random House for being TOTALLY RETARDED. Luke should die of old age.

I am in agreement. He earned his retirement and senile old age. :)

Jedi never die, they become one with the force.

Okay. Thanks for your thoughts. I hate Luke, so I want to see him die painfully. Perhaps be "dead" yet alive in the Force. Like what Malak did on the Star Forge in KOTOR.

    Yeah... that is sad. :(

And it's morally wrong. Like killing off Mara. It won't happen.

    Oh wait... :_|

this is easy... just don't write about his death at all. Have stuff that happens before and after it. And just mention he died of old age if necessary.
