Sac, CA A Sac Valley Rogue at ILM Friday ...

As your Supreme Chancellor I am pround to announce that this coming Friday, our very own Rogue 29 (Leia1138) will be embarking on a tour of Industrial Light and Magic (ILM) at the Presidio in San Francisco. Rogue 29 entered a contest online last week, and is one of 8 chosen to tour ILM on Friday.

So everyone join me in a round of applause for our very own Leia1138!!

I heard about it on the Star Wars Action News podcast (all you collectors should be listening ) and through NiubNiub's Universe. I sent in an e-mail and was put in a random drawing. Just had to be able to get to San Francisco on Friday morning.

I'll take pictures and report back on what I can (I have to sign a confidentiality agreement before I go on the tour).

 

A confo. agreement! You know what that means! You can tease everyone by saying, "I saw something you don't know!" ha ha...just kidding.

Actually, I was at ILM yesterday, too.
I was answering the call to audition as a dancer for motion capture work. I don't know if I got the gig....but we will see.

Everyone at the meeting today got to hear about the tour. It was a lot of fun, especially watching some movie trailers in the Premiere Theatre and shopping at the Lucasfilm store! There's a re-cap of the day on NiubNiub's website. I'll also post some of my pics soon on our SVRF Photobucket page.

Everyone should check out Niub Niub's Diorama Workshop at CIV (it will be in the same hall as our table). It looks like it will be really cool (especially if you like ewoks).
