I'm surprised anyone would take it as anything other than this... I thought it was obvious from the respectful way he said it.

 

I do see them having more of a sibling relationship, especially because nothing else has been hinted at. I just want them to BE together, the same as I want her and Jon to be together. When Arya forms a bond, it's very strong and very easy to see.

 

Won't lie. I'm an older!Arya/Gendry shipper.

 

Yeah, that was one of the reasons the Red Wedding was so terrible. You weren't just losing Robb and Cat, you were losing every good Northerner you'd read about so far. Robb wasn't just watching his army die, he was watching his friends and comrades die all around him because of his mistake.

Unless they introduce all of them in the next few episode and just make them all the most incredibly likeable people ever the Red Wedding will just seem like Robb's men turning on him.

Well, it remains to be seen if they even depict it. In the books, I half-assumed the whole Grey-Wind's-head-being-sewn-onto-Robb's-body was a false rumor, like Robb turning into a wolf during the wedding and being put down. No viewpoint character was around to witness it.

 

What is that even supposed to be, and how is it a spoiler?

 

I am tipsy enough right now to admit that I am extremely glad that this show is being made. It is not Mad Man or Breaking Bad, but it is third, and it is saving me a second reading of the series.

No matter how lamely the "White Walkers" (gag) are being portrayed. And the lack of Arthur Dayne.

 

Arthur Dayne is dead. And he had a total of one (well, I think a patchwork of memories) scene in the book.

 

I hope all of you have had a chance to nerdily gaze over the minis that Dark Sword Miniatures has made for the series.

 

That can't be right. He was mentioned at least 3 or 4 times. He was the Chuck Norris of Westeros.

 

He's mentioned plenty, but his only appearance (since Ned or Howland Reed killed him at the end of the Rebellion) is in Ned's memories of the Tower of Joy.
