I dont think my mind would be able to take 2 hours of Yoda's backwards talking

Yoda is best served in small doses.

Maybe Yoda gets really really hammered and starts speaking normally?

I can just imagine a Project X movie with Yoda.

I forget where I hear this, maybe the forcecast, but apparently a Star Wars met George Lucas while both were on vacation a few years ago and Lucas told him what his outline (which would probably be a starting point if a Yoda movie is were made) for a Yoda prequel movie.

Basically it would be 800 years before TPM, when the Sith are ruling the Galaxy (in Georges timeline the Sith take over the Galaxy and rule for a period of time and are then over thrown and whiped out by the Jedi 800-1000 years before TPM) and tell the story of a young, new knighted Yoda playing an important role in the Jedi defeating and over throwing the Sith Empire

I like this idea. Some Sith lab has captured a bunch of yodas for scientific experiments. Then maybe Matthew Broderick goes in and saves the day after befriending a caged yoda.

This was contradict what Ki-Adi Mundi said about the Sith having been extinct for a millennia, I guess you could say he was rounding up.

Exactly. Did you really think the Sith disappeared in exactly 1,032 BBY?

A lot of people take that kind of statement too literally.

Everytime you mention an historical event, espically one from 500 or 1000 years ago, do you do the math or just use a round number?

Yoda: "I really like this bar, and these drinks are great. What? Why are you all looking at me like that?"

I agree, even though I would like to see a middle aged Yoda in his prime, something like this would make for a better story. The Sith and possibly Darth Bane as the antagonist rather than one of the lost 20.

Thus, we learn exactly what the effects of Death Sticks look like...

The mystique of Boba Fett was ruined slightly with the prequels. The same mistake should not be made for Yoda.

@DarthPoppy : Yoda as a Force ghost: "Luke, waste your time do not. No longer selling power converters is the Tosche Station."

That is excellent. I would pay to see the Yoda Spin-off Film for this scene alone.

Aside from taking the 'mystery and intrigue' out of his character or whatever, I just think two hours of his dialog would get really annoying. lol

Enjoy Yodaspeak, I do. Enjoy a Yoda spinoff, I would.

I thought the PT gave us just enough backstory to Boba without ruining the mystique, but I agree that Yoda should be left alone.

I think they should just make a cartoon series on his young days not how he became a jedi but how he went from a normal Jedi master to the most powerful jedi master ever. We could also see how the sith empire was destroyed and why they were forced to make the rule of two.

Agreed. I never had a problem at all with his AotC backstory.

And I absolutely love Jango Fett, so there's that.
