SWRPF Archive A Thousand Years

Alan awakens in the night to hands choking him. He struggles to break free and reaches for the light switch. As his hands clumsily probe his night stand, knocking fixtures away violently, the attacker lunges forward again. Alan finds the lamp, but rather than turn it on, he lifts it and smashes it over the mystery atackes skull. The villain falls and Alan steps around him and runs to the hall in his pajamas. He makes his way to the nearest jedi's quarters, it happens to be his friend Terra, who sleeps three doors down from him. He knocks vigorously on her door!
"Terra! I need help!"

TAG: guess who.

 

Riku stared at Damian. He knew this was coming. Yoda told him. Damian didn't know. He looked furious, almost menacing.

"Something wrong?" asked Riku.

 

OOC: Gee Alan, Time warped to nighttime already? Okay. I'll jump ahead a few hours with ya.

BIC:
Terra awakes to someone pounding on her door.
She had turned to look at her timepiece when she heard..

"Terra! I need help!"

She recognizes the voice as Alans. The master called her lightsaber to her while rolling out of bed. She runs out of her bedroom to the common room, while using the Force to hit the switch on her front door, opening it by the time she made it to the door.

"Alan!" She sees that he is in his bedclothes, she also notices that he has some bruises starting to show around his neck, and his clothing is ripped.

Alan points down the hall to his room. Nodding, she holds her saber unlit while she quickly heads down the hall to his room. Silently, she opens the door. His common room looked as if everything was normal, with the exception of a smashed lamp laying near the doorway of his bedroom. She streched out with the Force, trying to sense if anyone was in the room. She was aware of Alan hanging back behind her. She perked her ears forward, and continued on to his bedroom..

TAG!: Back at ya!

 

OOC: Night time? Geez, maybe I should have time control here...

IC: Demian did not respond to Riku. An apprentice? for Demian? What were the Jedi council thinking?

"Please masters, reconsider. You all know who bad I am with... children." said Demian.

Dooku replied to that. "We all know that you have troubles with your mind. Close to insanity I hear?" obviously Dooku did think this was funny business.

Demian couldn't keep his temper down. "I wouldn't be insane if I wasn't trapped in this junk pile! Let me get out of here, and do something useful." he exploded.

The council stared.

 

OOC: Yes, night time. I tried to work towards it by "finishing my work for the day," then "making my way to my room, where I found the gift." plus. . .there wasn't any action, I need action. I live the slow, boring life of a gardener, I need something to liven things up!

IC: Alan looks at Terra, still frightened, but secure in her prescence. "I don't know where he could have fled to. I was only out of the room for less than a minute, and he was unconcious when I left."

He takes a step into his room. It looks untouched. "I am sorry for waking you Terra, it appears that my assailent has gone." "Thank you for coming to my aid. That's two I owe you now, and if you don't mind, I would ask another favor of you, to bring the total to three. . ."

 

OOC: No prob!
BIC:

Terra contined sweeping the area and checked out Alan's bedroom, making sure no one else was still in the room. She sniffed the air, trying to see if she could come up with any type of sent. She did pick up something, but it was not familiar to her. Going back to were the lamp was broke, she carefully picked up a piece that had blood on it.

"Alan, things look okay right now. You should have security do a scan on the lamp, to see if they can figgure out or what attacked you if nothing else."

Straighting herself, she walked back to where Alan was standing.

"I have another favor to ask you", Alan replied.

Terra nlinked and looked at him, her tail slowly swaying. "If it is allowable, of course. What is it?"

She sat down next to him.

TAG!

 

Yoda finally spoke. "Train him, you will, Master Demian. Need you, the boy does. If you reject our order, find you incapable of being a Jedi Master, we will."

Demian glared at Yoda and the rest of the council. They were all onto him, pesting. Pests. That's what they all were. However, he could not deny the fact that he would be disqualified as a Master unless he take at least one student as an apprentice.

"Fine," he said at last, "I will train the boy. Be warned however, I won't be the nicest master around." Demian turned to Riku.

"Initiate Riku Salven, do you accept the request for me to be your teacher?" said Demian in a loud and clear voice.

The council was silent as they waited for the young would-be Jedi's answer.

OOC: By the way, everyone, could we keep this RP in past form? Terra?

 

OOC: Why in the past tense? When writing in the present tense, things seem so much more exciting. Just wondering. . .

IC: Alan looks at the floor, fidgeting with his hands, "I am a little embarassed to ask this, but. . .I am not a jedi, and have little skill left in me with regard to fighting and physical conflict. I would feel much safer if I could sleep in your room tonight master Terra. I will sleep on the couch, and I do not snore"

OOC: For some reason I imagine Terra being attractive to Alan, even though she's all furry and stuff. I'm not saying that Alan has a crush on her, but. . .hahaha

 

Riku stared up at Damian. Then grinned.

"Sure," he said.

 

"Well made choice, young apprentice." said Dooku, but somehow there was a hint of sarcasm in his voice. He was about to say more, but was hushed by Yoda.

"Well thought over, Demian and Riku. Together, may you bring peace and justice to the galaxy." said Yoda, which was quite stange, because he always says things backwards.

"May the Force be with you." said Master Adi-Mundi.

"Good to see Demian with a shadow." another master chuckled.

"Now that it reminds me, we have to see Terra for her application of an apprentice. Please master Demian, do us a favor and bring Master Terra and young Wynessa in." said Adi-Mundi.

"Yes, master." said Demian. The two Jedi, now as one, left the court, to find Terra.

 

*Yisha cradled the smoking remains of his lightsaber in his arms. He could believe it. A training probe had actually hit his hilt. Hours of trying out his former weapon had left him bruised and tired. Yet Yisha had kept going, pushing his weak body to it's limit. And look at where it got him. Yoda would not be pleased. The boy proceeded to walk down the empty corridor, his destroyed weapon still clutched in his hands, a single tear threatening to fall from his eye*

OOC: Not sure what ya mean by "in past". but will try...especially since at the moment I am doing a day and nite action at the same time
BIC:
Terra training as a Jedi Master was the only thing that keep the supprised look she felt from regestering on her face. She looked at Alan, gently regarding him, while searching though the Force.

"Of course. Get what you need. You are welcomed to stay the rest of the night at my place. Later, we shall find out what is gong on."

She slowely swished her tail, as she waited for Alan to gather his items that he would need. After he was finished, she escorted him to her place.

When she opened the door, she smiled when Alan took a stop back. She had plants all over the place. He saw plants lining the walls. What really caught his eye, was the somewhat large tree that was above the couch.

"Would you like some tea? she asked, as she closed the door. Trying to make Alan feel comfortable. SHe pulled out some spare shests and layed them on the couch. She slipped her lightsaber into her pocket.

 

OOC:
Meanwhile, during the day...
BIC:
Terra was in the garden theater, practing her Katas, and wondering if she was going to have to track down Wynessa...

 

OOC: Gosh! You guys really need to get your time-tables straightened out (I feel like I can say this sarcastically, because apparantly I'm the one who messed everything up). . .

BIC: Alan walks through the room, astounded at the beauty of Terra's plants. She had obviously taken great care of them, and her skill is evident in their color and posture.

"Terra, your quarters are amaizing. You have so many wonderful plants here. This Acropolin tree is very healthy and the leaves are of a rich green hue that is very dificult to accomplish. You have done an excellent job with everything here."

Alan looks across the room at Terra. She is still waiting for an answer about the tea. . .

"Oh, I'm terribly sorry. I'd love some tea, thank you."

Alan probes the other plantlife, taken aback by the delicate care they had all been given. In one corner, farthest from the window, there sits a Morian bristle leaf, a plant generally regarded as evil, and ill-willed. This small thorny bush has been known to actually attack other plants, and sometimes even people who approach it. It takes a gentle hand and unworldly patience to raise this Morian plant to live in harmony with other plants. When one is able to accomplish the goal, however the Morian bristle leaf can yield great rewards. It's scent can lull someone into a peaceful trance, causing great clarity of mind and very gratifying meditations.

"Terra, this is marvelous!"

 

As Damian and Riku walked out, Riku got an idea.

"Master," said Riku. "How about I look for Wynessa and you go locate Terra, then we report back here? I mean, I do know where her room is, so it would be faster."

He stared up at Damian waiting for his answer.

 

Lillip lays down on his bed, bored out of his mind.

Soon, he falls asleep.

 

"Fine," said Demian to his new apprentice. "Meet here in half an hour. If you did not find him, come back anyway."

Riku bowed. "Yes, Master"

They both ran in different directions.

 

Riku ran to the rooms portion of the temple. He skidded to a halt at Wynessa's door. He knocked on it.

"Wynessa!" Riku called. "This is Riku! It's important!"

He hoped that she was there as he waited for her to come out.

 

OOC: You know what? Let's set it to night for now. Terra, you are now in your dorm room. I'll be busting in shortly.

Demian slowed down to a fast walk. What was he thinking? Running in the halls, making noise that echoed throughout the temple. He was a master now, he must show an example to his new padawan, no matter how botherful that youngster was.

Demian opened the door to the garden, and saw it was empty. Well, no surprise, he hadn't expected for her to stay there all day waiting for him. Demian turned around, and headed for the Jedi Roster.

His face shone as the light from the computer came upon him. Master Terra... room 516. Shouln't be hard to find. He took the elavator and headed for the fifth floor.

A ting sound noted the elavator's arrival. Demian stepped out and looked about for Terra's room. 516... Ah, there it is...

Seeing that the door was slightly open, Demian went in without knocking (where's his manners?). In the kitchen, he saw Terra and... ALAN?

Demian found himself mumbling, "Oh, i didn't know you guys were... Not that I mean... Um... I'll come another time... you guys seem busy... not that it's..." He turned around to leave...

OOC again: Terra, as you have may noticed, Demian thinks that you guys are having a relationship, which is forbidden. Please care to correct his stupid mistake. LOL

 

A master passing by tapped on Riku's shoulder. "Would you be so kind why you are screaming in the halls? It's bedtime!"

The master shook his head in dismay as the young Jedi tried to stammer a reply.

"Well?" he asked.

TAG: Riku, you're in trouble now... LOL

 

OOC: GREAT IT'S NITE!..Thank you..BTW..relationships are not totally forbidden...Jedi aint celebate monks, ya know )

BIC:
Terra heard a sound in her quaters, at her door, and had pulled out and switched on her saber instantly. Alan jumped back out of the way. Then she saw who it was, and turned her saber back off, growling, her ears and tail twitching in agitation.

"MASTER Demain! If you wish for your body parts to remain where they should be, you better KNOCK next time.

Turning towards Alan, she spoke, "Alan was attacked in his room less than 20 minutes ago." I was tending to him, and about to call temple security."

She came out the kitchen, and stepped into the common room. "NOW, since you are in my room, I take it you came to see me about something? She offered Damian the cup of tea she was holding.

She handed Alan another cup of tea, and leaned against the tree near the couch.

 

Two figures stood placidly the veranda of on of the most luxurious suites of Coruscant.

One of them was short, and older. He had pitch black robes and cloak. His face was masked by the shadow of his cloak, but one could see that he was very old. At least in the eighties. His fingers were gnarled and pale. The steps he took were very fragile, and looked like he needed a walking stick, but did not have one. A chilly look for a human. He almost looked reptilian with his dry and rubbery skin.

The man next to him however, was quite the contrary of his companion. Tall, and muscular, he seemed as fit as a gymnast. He wore the same type of clothing as his friend, but he had them tighter, not as loose as the shorter one beside him, almost like a battle suit. He too, had a cloak on his back. A small, shiny object hung from his belt, cylindrical and about six inched long. As the night got colder one could see his breath quite clearly.

"Time is almost up. I would like to see the end of the Knights of the Galaxy before my time is nigh," said the older of the two. His voice was cold and cackling.

"You will soon see it, my master. Our skills are no match for them. We have waited for so long for this opportunity. We will get back what we have worked for. I give my word." The younger replied to his mentor.

"So confident, are you, my young apprentice? These Jedi are not to be taken lightly. Though we have a higher level of power, they have a larger number. They also have the republic siding with them." cackled the old man. "You must take over the Republic. Then, and only then, you can face the Jedi."

"Yes my master." The young man did not have much more to say.

"I feel a disturbance in the force. A young man is about. Atrocious, but powerful. Powerful enough to do a Sithian bidding." The Sith master created a sick and twisted grin. "Skywalker... Skywalker... You must find this man, young apprentice. Find him, before he turns back to the Jedi. Are you capable of performing the task, Lord Sidious?" he asked.

"Of course, my lord," the young man replied.

"Good," the Dark master said. "Darth Bane is running out of patience."

 

OOC: I think relationships were forbidden when the Jedi Council existed. Even if it did, they would only have relationships with other Jedi weren't they? By the way, do not post anything about the two sith I have just mentioned. All Jedi have no clue that they even exist, so don't post stuff like, "There is a great disturbance in the force, OMG THE SITH ARE BACK!" Okay? Thanx and have fun!

 

Oh! Of course! This is a thousand years ago! Palpatine is suely very young so he's here! But Palpatine is much older, infact. He saw the great battle of the Sith and Jedi. He has clones, you see. If you want, go to Star Wars.com and hit 'Databank'. Then, hit 'charactors'. Then search and click on Palpatine, okay?

Now: Riku kept knocking until he felt a tap on his shoulder. He turned around. Riku was in trouble. It was another Jedi.

"Would you be so kind," the older Jedi said. "Why you are screaming in the halls? It's bedtime!"

"I wasn't screaming," Riku said. "I need to see Wynessa. Master Yoda wishes to speak to her."

TAG: Damian, get me out of trouble
