Items I'm interested in are. Not sure if I can use them though:

Angelhelm - Cost to create: 5,000gp Allows wearer to emulate some abilities of celestial beings and treats melee attacks as good-aligned to overcome damage reduction. Grants Cure Critcal Wounds, Dispel Evil, Resist Energy (Acid or Cold) as spell-like abilities once per day.

Crystal Mask of Languages - Cost to create: 1,250gp Allows wearer to read, write and speak 5 languages.

Quicksilver Boots - Cost to create: 1,750gp Allows wearer to move a distance up to his land speed. Can move across liquid surfaces as long as he starts and finishes on solid ground and makes his form appear blurry. 2/day.

Ring of Mystic Healing - Cost to create: 1,750gp Grants +1 competence bonus to cure spells and has 3 bonus healing charges of: 1 - +2d6 healing, 2 - +3d6 healing, 3 - +4d6 healing. Recharges daily at dawn.

I would love to have this though: Psychoactive Skin: Skin of Celestial Embrace - Cost to create: 12,000gp For 15 rounds: +4 Fort save bonus vs poison. Dmg reduction 10/magic. Darkvision 60 ft. Feathered wings and fly at 2x base land speed. Immune to disease. Resistance 10 to acid, cold, electricity. 1/day Smite Evil. Spell resistance 25. Functions once per day.

Something for Ariel if her Shoulder Slot is empty: Piercer Cloak - Cost to create: 450gp Grants 1d6 extra damage if wearer is above or higher ground at least 10 feet. 2d6 if she charges. 3/day.

It's pretty much outside your party's capabilities to craft the item, Mitth, mainly because it needs CL 15 and a spell of Holy Transformation, which you're juuuust under being only capable of casting 6th level spells.

On the other hand, its full price is "only" 24,000 gp - which you could easily pick up if the party foregoes the 12,000 gp they've got in storage right now and you spend up on your own "share" of 15,000 or so, or if someone else donates. I could allow it to come to you via a similar method to the way Evelios got his Vest of Legends to get around the fact there's no actual casters big and bad enough to make your angel suit for you :D

Ktala, I haven't forgotten our discussion, I'm just getting pummelled by work right at the moment... ;)

All right, guys, while we're waiting on people to come up with what they want to do with their characters, how about I move the story along just a bit? I'm updating in the thread -- you won't need to come up with your 11th level choices just yet -- to give people something to think about.

Spoilered for those who want to read the IC first...
If anyone's wondering, yes, what the characters hear on the Rings of Communication is going out to all of the party members, not just ... the two I borrowed (and Xan, Rilwen, I hope I didn't do horrible things to their characterisations... :D )

You're free to work with the thoughts I had for where your characters are, though Mazarun and/or Corrath need not be precisely correct about where you guys are. This is the (very early, predawn darkness) after the Battle of Brindol.

All right, rather than do the play-by-play on the Alessandro thing I might fast-forward stuff very slightly. When I've next got a second or two I'll have an IC update up. It'll borrow a couple of characters, maybe, but it'll probably get us to where we want to be faster...

Okay, updated. Spoilered for those who want to read the IC first...

So I left Zanaek and Ariel out of it, figuring they had other stuff to do - Ariel, if you want to play out an interaction with the elves, I'll accommodate you.

So. What now, guys? You can assume you've now all been told the same story by Alessandro, well, except for Zanaek and Ariel.

It's worth noting that we are headed into the final act, guys. If anyone planned on taking long goodbyes or rolling up character arcs - now's the time to do it, because this act won't be anywhere near as long as those that have come before.

While we're all waiting, I've updated the CSes with details to date. Notable stuff aside from the numbers...

    - Ariel gets a Piercer Cloak combined with her Cloak of Resistance, and Gloves of Dexterity +4. Picks up Touch of Idiocy as a spell.
    - Zanaek gets the Psychoactive Skin he wanted.
    - Corrath pulls Crippling Strike
    - Evelios -- updated, and Ramza as a provisional I've picked Shadow Conjuration as your new spell known since it's versatile. Let me know if you want an alternative...
    - Mazarun -- updated. Rilwen_Shadowflame I chose Flesh Ripper as the new strike known, and picked Improved Two-Weapon Fighting as the bonus feat.
    - Ragnar's updated.
    - Skadi updated.
    - William: updated, but cassie5squared I'll need your four sixth level spell selections ... and the bonus language he's autodidacted :D

Anything else, guys? Getting on for time here...

Bloody hell, I knew I forgot about something.

Shadow Conjuration will work, I remember looking at the spell list and being underwhelmed with my options as it was.

At the risk of completely destroying myself, I completely forgot that Celerity is a Bard 4 spell.

What's that? You're dazed for a round? Not if you use or emulate the feat Quick Recovery, p. 181 of Lords of Madness, especially since it resorts to Will saves. Albeit I guess the Will save against your own spell would be substantial: DC 10 +5 (1/2 CL) +8 = DC 23, i.e. the spell gets to roll 1d20+13 against your Will save of 25, so ... takes the daze chance to roughly 50/50 or so.

Oops, sorry Saint, I thought I'd given you the spells already.

Disintegrate (whee, Vaarsuvius!), Ruby Ray of Reversal, Superior Resistance, and Tactical Teleportation.

Also the bonus language will beeeeee... I'll say he's been picking up Goblin from Corrath and Mazarun.

"Recovering from being stunned or dazed in this way is a move action."

And here I almost thought it was a good feat.

It's not optimal, sure, but I can see how it'd work. The person using Quick Recovery is just, in effect, recovering a standard action. You hit the Celerity button sometime in the previous round, and you're dazed until you get to your next turn, at which point you fire off Quick Recovery and thus spend your move action for that round, but you're no longer dazed and can then spend your standard action to fling off another spell. Celerity would otherwise leave you dazed until the end of your next turn, which means you don't get to use a standard action or a move action. And given casters are generally going to want to use standard actions for casting rather than move actions to come to grips with the enemy, that recovered standard action is a lot more useful than the lost move action. I dunno.

Well, it's kind of hard to spend a move action when being stunned or dazed specifically prevent you from taking actions (I understand the intent of the feat, but the rules aren't very good at explaining that). Plus, I'm mentally comparing it to the 4e feat Superior Will, which let you automatically save vs. stun or daze at the start of your turn even if it didn't have a save, and boosted your Will defense by a level-scaling amount. It was an unambiguously good feat. But whatever.

Right, I figured I'd move things along. To make it utterly, utterly easy: if people would like me to cutscene through the divination that will be following soon, just 'like' this post and I'll do it up. Probably a lot faster all round.

And yes, I know Skadi can scry just like Zanaek can - I just figured you'd want the most specialised guy for the job, seeing as Zanaek is Divine Oracle 3, gets to roll twice on divination spells, and casts at a higher level for those spells anyway. :D

Smiter and healer by night, Scryer by day! A clerics job is never done! Tally-ho!

I can reply unless you really want to speed things up?
